UCLA's Adams declares for draft
UCLA guard Jordan Adams changed his mind about returning to school and decided to enter the NBA draft, coach Steve Alford told ESPN on Sunday.
Adams met with coaches last week and informed them he would stay in school, but recently had a change of heart.
Alford wrote in a text message to ESPN that he was not sure why Adams changed his mind.
"I don't know why," he wrote. "We lose four of five starters."
Adams, 6-foot-5, averaged 17.4 points per game last season. He is the third Bruin to declare for the draft, joining point guard Kyle Anderson and reserve guard Zach LaVine.
