David Beckham 12/1 to net free kick before retirement

David Beckham has announced his retirement from soccer and simultaneously sent the Twitter-sphere and footy fans everywhere into a frenzy Thursday.

Beckham has two matches left with his current club Paris Saint Germain. The French Ligue 1 side has already clinched the domestic title and faces lowly Brest at home on May 18 and conclude the season on the road against Lorient.

Betfair.com has listed futures on what ol' Golden Balls will do prior to hanging up the boots:

Becks has played sparingly with the French giants and has no goals, one assist and one straight red card on the campaign.

It would be fitting for the free kick ace to go out with a dazzling set piece goal, cementing his legacy as a goalscoring threat from dead ball situations.
