Astros' terrible pitching cashing in for over bettors

The dismal Houston Astros have been one of the best over bets of the early season and sport a 26-13-2 over/under record heading into action Friday.

The 'Stros pitching is so poor that it ranks last in virtually every important pitching stat in baseball.

An incredibly bad 5.81 ERA (more than one run worse than the 29th ranked Toronto Blue Jays), 227 earned runs, 159 walks, .299 opponents batting average, 423 hits, and 64 home runs surrendered all rank last in the majors and are just a sampling of how Astros pitchers have catered to over bettors this season.

The new member of the American League West has played over the total in four of their last five games and are 10-4 O/U in the month of May.

Houston is in Pittsburgh to face the Pirates Friday.
