Kevin Na dropped a 15-foot putt on the last hole to take a one-shot lead at the Players Championship, but he isn’t the favorite heading into Sunday’s final round.
That right is reserved for Matt Kuchar, who shot a 5-under 69 and is just one shot off Na’s pace.
"It was exciting," Kuchar told reporters. "A lot of birdies and a lot more bogeys than I normally make. But I knew today was going to be a tricky day. I knew there were going to be a lot of bogeys. I knew there were dangers around every corner."
After winning last weekend, Rickie Fowler is in the hunt again, just three shots back of the leader. He’s looking to become the first player to win his first two titles in consecutive weeks since David Duval accomplished the feat back in 1997.
