I like Syracuse to cover as long as Cooney doesn't completely suck -- which he is capable of.

SETON HALL vs GONZAGA. Anyone interested in reading a mini novel on this game?
in College Basketball
That was a really good read. However, I won a TON of money off of Seton Hall this season and have to disagree with your statement that they haven't had success against a frontcourt as good as Gonzaga's. Did you watch them succeed against Xavier's bigs?

I was there for eight years. The payouts? You will ALWAYS get paid on time once a month. The dog lines? If you like betting dogs, no site is better. Beyond that? It has the shi**iest line offerings in the business. They post lines very late, sometimes never move off a number (I remember the Jets were +3 -145 last year as they simply would not take the risk to go to 2.5/2 like every other book. I couldn't bet the Jets with that much juice.). And sometimes they won't even offer a ML which is just a JOKE. 5Dimes makes them look like a Mickey Mouse outfit. Great. I thought I'd take advantage of their $250 match bonus. That's ok. I've been primarily on sportsbook.ag and betonline... not exactly thrilled with either of those sites. Haven't tried 5dimes. |

Crap...
I like betting on the occasional underdog straight up in NFL and NCAAF. |

Will moneyline wagers become an option though?

I'm new to Bovada, obviously.
In looking at the NFL preseason betting, it only provides an option to bet on the spread, not the moneyline. Am I missing something, or is betting on the moneyline not an option? Thanks for any help! |

I have been working on my handicapping for this college season - and am relatively new to posting. I have the majority of my picks in for this week. Any thoughts?
Arizona -6.5 (Thurs) I'm higher on the Wildcats than most this season. I predicted them to finish 2nd in the South (behind UCLA). Pitt -4 (Fri) -I will admit I'm a Pitt homer, but expectations are much higher this season. QB Chad Voytik has been waiting his turn (thanks to Savage last season) and looked cool, calm and collected at home against Delaware. Tyler Boyd is perhaps the most underrated play maker in the country who grew up in Pittsburgh. If this line goes down any come game time, I'll probably double up this bet. Wash State -0.5 (Fri) Really just a play against a Nevada team who isn't really all that impressive. Will be tough for the Cougars on the road, but I'm thinking they can outscore the home team. Purdue -2.5 The Boilermakers looked pretty awful in their win against WMU, but the duo of Mostert and King are intriguing. King is a nice hybrid RB/WR who needs to touch the ball more this week, and I think he will. Also, Etling played about as poor as he could for Purdue and they still won yesterday. Stanford -3 I'll take Kevin Hogan @ home for the win. I wish this was a prime time game though. Ohio +9.5 I liked what I saw from Vick against Kent State. He kept his composure in the win, even after his RBs kept fumbling the ball over. Ohio's D was stout and they have one of the best kickers in the country (if that means anything to you). Should be a ground and pound, low scoring game against Kentucky. But Vick is capable of scoring if they get behind. Georgia Tech -11 The Jackets have a mediocre team, but what I wasn't impressed watching Tulsa/Tulane this past week. Michigan State +13 The Spartans are a very experienced team and I think they can keep pace w/ Oregon. The defense will have their hands full, but any time I can get MSU and 2 TDs, I'll take it. South Carolina -13.5 *Pick of the week* Ok... I get that they were swiss cheese against Texas A&M, but I'll take the SEC team @ home against an ECU team they beat 48-10 two seasons ago. Thompson looked capable and QB and I'll think they'll be playing with a little chip on their shoulder this week. |
