@MrWhatsItToYa That official should certainly be reprimanded for that call. The player's actions were not excessive, nor was he taunting his opponents. Somebody should remind the official that the game is about the players, not about him. |

Dusty has had a career of being hot garbage. Brought in by two teams to babysit their juicer and couldn't do that right. To really experience his complete ineptness one only had to watch his brief run in front of the cameras between jobs. (Not to mention his constant puking of quality teams). If he had less melatonin he would have been out of baseball two decades ago. I agree 100%. Anybody who will wear a covid face diaper for the 1st three innings of a game , then trade it in for a tooth pick isn't all that smart. The fact that Martin Maldonado has started 80% of the games since the Astros acquired Christian Vazquez tells me all I need to know about the intelligence of Dusty Baker. That being said, pitching wins games, and the Astros have it in spades. |

This morning, on this forum, someone had South Alabama on the money line. He's looking like a genius at the moment as South Alabama looks like more than UCLA can handle. Who made this prediction? |

This seems pretty simple to me. Both of these teams have excellent defenses. Both have excellent depth. But, one team starts a former walk-on QB while the other starts a future 1st round NFL pick. Giving Nick Saban points on a stage like this seems retarded to me. Must be mental contagion from the covid insanity. |

@Fallser29 -2.5... 45 Units.. locking it in as I see this line climbing to 3.5 by Monday night... I hope so. Alabama +3.5?! What a great, late Christmas present that would be. |

@SwampThingg Motivation is everything. UCF has it, Florida doesn't. UCF might win outright. +7 is a gift. |

@jwheels86 Even worse Bama's soft on BOTH sides of the ball up front You sure about that? No doubt that Alabama has problems on the right side of their o-line, particularly pass blocking. Defense is another story. Georgia is the #3 team in the nation against the run. Guess who's #4? Alabama. Also, Georgia is tied with Clemson for 5th in the nation in QB sacks with 41. Alabama is #3 nationwide in total team sacks with 43. Alabama's problems have been consistency. They are mediocre on occasions. But, when they are good, they are as good as Georgia on defense. Alabama held Ole Miss and Miss. St. to less than 300 yards of total offense, and they held Tennessee to 2/13 on 3rd down conversions and 10 total 1st downs. That's three of the top 5 offenses in the SEC. Bennett had better be good because it's not likely that Georgia is just going to line up and knock Alabama off the football. |

A 4 run lead and the World Series title was oh so close for the Braves, but it slipped away. The Braves are psychologically damaged now. Houston wins tonight and the pressure of what could have been is too much for Atlanta in game 7. CORRECTION. THE TITLE OF THE THREAD SHOULD READ: GAME 5 BROKE THE BRAVES |

@RebelTell2 don't forget that there are plenty of hungry people out here in this land of plenty. A quick stroll through your local Walmart will make you rethink that position! |

@PeAceMaKer7690 "i don't watch the ticket usually" The only thing I've noticed about that damn ticker is that it takes up more and more of the screen every season. Pretty soon it will be half way up the tv screen! |

I'm not much of a gambler, but I do like playing SEC games occasionally. Two dogs that appeal to me this week are Auburn getting 5 and LSU getting 11.5 (at home). Doubt that I'll parlay them though. Good luck to you/us! |

@sevenout44 How is a ball off the wall and the ground landing fair and knocked out of play a ground rule double. Wtf This is the most prudent post in this entire thread. Nothing about field configuration or conditions caused the ball to leave the playing field. It went out of play because a Boston player knocked it out of play. Unless Boston can retrieve the ball there's no reason why the hitter can't circle the bases. It should have been ruled a home run. |

@fts1409 Pls don't remind us of the hail Mary??. ERs were busy that night. And bars. Believe me brother I understand. I'm an Alabama fan and watched Auburn do the same thing to us two weeks after that Georgia miracle. Remember the "KICK 6"? AU must have sold their soul to the devil. As far as Saturday goes, I'm on the under @46.5. |

@PeAceMaKer7690 Both Georgia and Auburn average 40+ ppg. Auburn's offensive numbers are skewed by their first two games (vs Akron & Alabama State) where they scored 122 points. Against Penn St., Georgia St. & LSU they averaged 26. |

@PeAceMaKer7690 A good story would be Auburn getting an interception, Bo not throwing one, and getting the upset at home. Is that a crazy story? It certainly wouldn't be the first time crazy stuff has happened between these two teams. A few years ago, Auburn beat Georgia on the last play of the game on a Hail Mary that bounced off two Georgia DB's hands right to the AU receiver who took it to the house. At a glance, it's easy to think Auburn has no chance here, but against Georgia or Alabama, you can throw away the book. |

There can be only one. Wait the line will move with you. There is only one logical 2020 style play here. Be Patient and bet 45 minutes before the game.

@brava I don't see either defense stopping the other offense. We'll see a 45-38 type game. |
