Weather forces Monday start to PGA event

Jan 7, 2013 |
The PGA Tour season is having difficulty getting started thanks to Mother Nature.

The Tournament of Champions from Kapalua, Hawaii was set to get underway Friday, but high winds have halted numerous attempts throughout the weekend to get the winners-only tournament underway.

Event organizers are hoping to play 36 holes Monday in more favorable weather conditions. However, winds are already blowing at 20 mph at the Plantation Course this morning.
