College doesn’t start for another month and a half but wiseguys have been studying up on the 2013 NCAA football season and have some pretty solid opinions when it comes to which programs will excel and fail this fall.

We look at three college football teams getting faded by sharp bettors online and in Las Vegas.

Sharps don’t like...

Florida Gators

Win total: 9 (Over +105)
Conference odds: +800
BCS odds: +2,500

The Gators had one of the best defenses in the land last season, holding opponents to just over two touchdowns per game. Florida brings back only three starters from that squad and needs to find a way to counter that on offense, after averaging only 26.5 points in 2012.

Expert opinion:
Teddy Covers, Covers Expert – “I'm not seeing much love for the Florida Gators in the loaded SEC. With games away from home against Miami, LSU, Georgia and South Carolina, the earlier bettors are expecting Will Muschamp's squad to fall short more than once.”

UNLV Runnin’ Rebels

Win total: 4.5 (Over +100)
Conference odds: +4,000
BCS odds: Field +2,000

The Rebels are one of the worst bets in college football in recent years but snuck away with a 6-5-2 ATS mark after going 2-11 SU in 2012. Head coach Bobby Hauck is on the hot seat. His program hasn’t won a road game in three seasons but he does have some returning experience in Sin City.

Expert opinion: Bruce Marshall, Covers Experts – “To me, UNLV is analogous to driving by a neighborhood and seeing bars on the windows. You probably don't want to move into that neighborhood.”

Oregon Ducks

Win total: 11 (Over +125)
Conference odds: +150
BCS odds: +650

Oregon remains the team to beat in the Pac-12, with former OC Mark Helfrich taking over the high-octane offense. Nine starters are back from a squad that averaged 49.6 points – second most in the nation. However, bettors believe there may be more value in the Pac-12 behind the Ducks.

Expert opinion: Aron Black, – “Obviously one of, if not the most entertaining offense that’s been around for some time. However, the lack of action will be directly related to Chip Kelly leaving for the NFL. Usually that’s a big dent to a college team and very well may be the case here."
