Much like I4Blood looks for 6-10 solid teams to bet every week. I look for teams to fade every week. This is based on ATS history, coach tenure ATS history, returning starters, schedule, QB situation, public perception, conference, situations, turnovers, close wins, and prior injuries either rightfully or wrongfully affecting lines.
Also, teams that win games tend to cover the spread, period, whether favorites or dogs.
Top tier fades for 2009: New Mexico St., Indiana, Tulane, New Mexico, Washington St., WKU, and Idaho.
2nd tier fades for 2009: Iowa St., Marshall, Mississippi St, Ball St., Kent St., West Virginia, Purdue, Texas A+M, Washingon, Arky St., Syracuse, Buffalo, Rice, Miami OH, and Wyoming.
Teams i'm looking to bet on based on traditional undervaluing or public perception undervaluing: UCONN, Navy, Oregon St, USF, TCU, Boise, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Utah,
Teams that are traditional fades that may be worth a look this year: Eastern Michigan, Northern Texas, and Army.
