Anybody else noticing a strange pattern in the runs being scored in the 8th-9th inning lately? I parlay a lot in the MLB and I'm thankful for the live option on my site beacuse of this. Although I've done very well in MLB this year and probably 85% on Parlays, majority 2 team RL's, I have had to rely on the Live option on more occasions than I can ever remember. This is to get a good middle or to basically "save" the winning funds on the original Parlay.
Today had some great examples.....2 Team Parlay White Sox -1.5 and Twins -1.5 .....$100 to win $6+ ....9th inning Sox give up 3 to a Tigers team that hadn't hit anything in 4 innnings prior. I lost this one completely because I never expected them to score more than 1 in the 9th....Parlay #2 Houston -1.5..Toronto -1.5....Cardinals -1.5.....$100 to win $11+ and this is where the live option really worked. Thinking I had a guranteed win (which there is no such thing) I turned around and took KC +1.5 +200 for $200 in 9th just because I had a gut feeling that somehow, someway, Toronto would find a way to blow that 3 run lead they held for 5 innings, and they did. Also turned around and took Washington +4.5 and +2.5 live in the 9th when they were down, but the moral of the rant is when the F did closers EVER give up this many runs this late in the game? It's sickening. I will always remember....NO SUCH THING AS A LOCK but this pattern has effected a lot of my wagers. Maybe its just me..

Rondon pitched 8 innings....Bullpen came in after. What is shocking about that...CWS bullpen blew the game on Monday and almost yesterday. Not a surprise.

Completely agree, but that's not what I was referring to. I'm referring to how some of these teams, most being the better team, completely dominate the other for a large portion of the game only to nearly blow the game or give up any runs for that matter to a team that has been inept in scoring especially when you have the momentum.

If Rondon pitched the the 9th..You have an argument...All these bad teams trade away all their closers/bullpen good pitchers so they have noone to close. Soria was traded to the Brewers and he was their closer.

So explain Toronto / KC...KC homer by some guy I've never even heard of with 1 out in the 9th....just DUMB. No logical reasoning behind it IMHO ....

Ken Giles was a wreck for the Astros..There is a reason why the WS Champions got rid of him...He is a gas can. Blew a lot of games for the Astros....Thats what you get when playing bad teams...who have no real closers.

Toronto traded away....Osuna who have closed..and Oh to the Rockies...
True..True, but you have to think that the better team will break through in a game like this and at the least close it out. Not today apparently.
Had it pinned for that, but changed my mind at last second. Actually thought it was a loss anyway until I saw Twins go up 2, but you're definitely right. I got greedy...Something I've learned to lay off of over the last 2-3 years which has lead to being in the +.

It’s very easy to explain : minor leaguers in major league uniforms. It’s just that simple....
We all know it's not that simple to handicap right now. I was just thrown back after I looked back and if you look at all games, at least in my opinion, seems to be an abnormal amount of runs late in these games.

Blowjays & CWS won the game didn't they? Thats all that matters...Having them win by 2 runs is another story.

Just ate my own words and lost $400 out of the $850+ had I just left it alone.....That's the crutch of the Live but with 0 outs and bases loaded playing at home and you cant score 1?!!! WTF is up with that. Very strange...Had Yankees +1.5 Live +200 and Took them to win outright +105 with bases loaded....Bummer but still came out on top
