With a little ridicule from Stewart and a little pressure from his bosses Olberman gave a SINCERE (ha) apology. Wait until next week when he does it again. Maybe he should allow his arm to heal where he gnashes it in his rage. It won't bother me, I have listened to him for the last time. Never watched him much and when I did I was greeted with this diatribe. "Over the top" is an excuse that does not cut it. Under the barrel is more appropriate for KO. Is he still on his medication? He must have taken himself off.

I like Keith Olberman... Olberman and Ed Schultz are the best. Chris Matthews is a blowhead and Rachel Maddows is a lesbian.

Dont get me wrong here. I am certainly not opposed to gays or lesbians. I share all the core liberal issues. I just dont approve of her show. I think she tries to come up with funny remarks that are not funny at all... and i do not like that she sees herself as some advocate banner leader for gay issues as a host of a news show. It is on as if she is on a personal crusade or something.

I am not a bigot... i am certainly more understanding to minority rights that 90% of the people in this forum. I just dont like the way she uses her news program as a platform of talking about gay this and gay that ALL the time. She should stop trying to be funny and focus on news. If that involves some gay news once in a while, fine.... BUT EVERY OTHER DAY it is all about that issue and nothing else.

Mikael99, I agree with Ed Schultz on this though .............Ed spoke at the Blue State Bash at the Minneapolis Convention Center last night at an event put on by Minnesota progressive talk radio AM950’s. As part of his speech Schultz revealed that he had a bit of a spat with Robert Gibbs when the White House Press Secretary appeared on his show this past Thursday

“Mr. Gibbs and I had quite a conversation off the air the other night, I told him he was full of sh*t is what I told him. … And then he gave me the Dick Cheney f-bomb. … I told Robert Gibbs, I said “And I’m sorry you’re swearing at me, but I’m just trying to help you out. I’m telling you you’re losing your base. Do you understand you’re losing your base?” ....

Laughing borderling hysterically at times with this one, and I've seen it about 3 or 4 times now. Jon Stewart is hilarious but IMO he does have journalistic integrity too I'd love to see him one day on an actual news show. He's funny but he has an Edward Murrow lets get to the bottom of this mentality.

COME ON!!! I mean if I had to refute or dissassociate myself from every offensive statement that some jackass in my audience shouts out I'd never get my show on the air!!!
