Bears 23, Rams 6:
Michael Bush scored the game's only offensive touchdown after a long drive in the second quarter as the host Bears shut down the Rams.

The former Raider started in place of running back Matt Forte, who was on the inactive list with a sprained ankle. Bush capped a 12-play, 81-yard march that consumed seven minutes with a 3-yard TD run to give the Bears (2-1) a 10-0 lead with two minutes left in the first half.

The Rams (1-2) stayed in the game despite managing only 60 yards in the first half and pulled within 10-6 on field goals of 56 and 46 yards by Greg Zuerlein. His 56-yarder with 27 seconds left in the first half was the longest in the history of Soldier Field.

But Major Wright's 45-yard interception return for a touchdown gave the Bears a 20-6 lead with 9:17 left in the game and sealed their fourth straight win over the Rams.

Both quarterbacks had quiet days as Chicago's Jay Cutler connected on 17 of 31 for 183 yards with the Rams' Sam Bradford completing 18 of 35 for 152. Bush finished as the game's leading rusher with 55 yards on 18 carries.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After getting sacked seven times in last week's 23-10 loss at Green Bay, Cutler was dropped twice by the Rams. He threw only one interception after getting picked off four times by the Packers. ... Running back Steven Jackson started for the Rams despite a sore groin but was limited to 29 yards on 11 carries. ... After catching a career-high 15 passes for 160 yards last week, St. Louis wide receiver Danny Amendola had five grabs for 66 yards.
