Washington Mystics @ New York Liberty: Liberty -5

I am sure that Laimbeer has told his girls from last year what happened in that elimination game vs the Mercury. They came out cold 2Q and the Mercury took charge to take a double digit lead into the half time break. Liberty tried their best to fight back but they couldn't. There is no way they would want to do the exact same thing this season, have a great season and then eliminated after 1 match. The Liberty have been the hottest team over the past 3-4 weeks and have had plenty of time to prepare for this game. Mystics shot poorly against one of the worst defensive teams in the league the other night and now they are up against a team that has allowed just 68 points across those last 10 matches. Think the Liberty can win this match and progress into the semi's.

U 78HT Wash - NYSlow paced stuff with two-three clear scoring options in both teams that will probably be locked and some secondary players that can&#x27;t score. Second half as is a do or die might be very overish but I&#x27;d be surprised if first half has higher pace than 4p per minute. Considering both try to play half-court offence and will look for shots and post plays.I like the over on the other game because of the pace and so many offensive players but the line is so high...

morning WNBA&#x27;ers! I think this is a great scenario for overs today as typically these single game eliminations go over and we surprisingly had both go under on Wednesday but we did secure both 2nd half overs which to me must be an auto play. Today we get 2 playoff caliber experienced away teams in Phx and Wash that won&#x27;t spit the bit and shoot 33% like Dallas and Sea did thus costing the over in Wed games. Adding fuel to fire whomever wins these games get the grand prize of traveling on one day&#x27;s rest to play either Minny or LA on Tuesday so in essence their seasons are over after this game, except for perhaps NY. Desperation by the home and away teams should really show up 2nd half and especially 50pt&#x2B; 4th qtrs. as defense goes out the window and shots go up every 5 seconds, let&#x27;s just hope Conn doesn&#x27;t go cold from 3. I&#x27;m playing both overs at 167.5 and 154.5 at &#x2B;105 each and will hammer 2nd half overs again. Good luck

Shocked and embarrassing. Liberty come out flat 2H and allow the Mystics to go on a 18-3 run. WOW. This league never fails to shock and make us shake our heads.

So because the Mystics finished 6th and the Mercury 5th, the teams get re-seeded and now we will have Mystics @ Lynx and Mercury @ Sparks in a best of 5 series.
