I feel the same way.

Does this make USC the play. Thinking of the under, but a little gun shy after getting burned on the under of the USC/TCU game that turned into a shootout.

Cal +2 almost seems too easy. Who has OSU beat besides Texas in OT? Cal has only lost to ranked teams.

Excellent writeup again! Do you still like it at 9.5?

This looks like a lot of points for St. Mary's to lay against a team that can score. E. Wash has also had a vastly superior strength of schedule to this point (#59 vs #303) and that might be causing a little undervalue vs overvalue in this matchup. I think St. Mary's will have to score 85 to cover this spread. While that's something they are capable of, I think a 78-66 game is more likely. Thoughts?

Also bear mentioning that Lamar lost by 20 to Louisville earlier in the year, a team that is very comparable to Ohio St. This line seems dead on to me.

So then Portland is the play?

This line makes no sense to me. You rarely ever see Portland favored
against a DI school, especially on the road. Utah is a terrible team
but probably 5 points better than Portland on a neutral court. They're
4 points dogs at home here? Why? Only thing I can think of is a
possible look ahead to big in-state rivalry game with Weber St. coming up. Thoughts?

This is a great write-up. After a TERRIBLE weekend getting eaten alive by NFL dogs, its tough for me to pull the trigger on this one. But I just dont see how Rice stays in this game.

Anyone like the over 3? Im thinking it might have the best value. Heart coach says he wants an offensive game and wont be laying back playing for a draw. Could be a 3-1, 4-2 kind of game.

This game is at the Staples Center with the Lakers coming off a very rare loss. I don't think people understand how good this Lakers Team is. They cant shut you down COMPLETELY defensively if they want to anytime they want and they can score AT WILL inside and out. They get Bynum back in 3 weeks and he is a MONSTER. This Lakers team could easily win 70 games if they want to and are playing that way. If anyone has watched them play this year they create a mismatch at every single position and Gasol is the MVP this year. Artest and Koke can shutdown any perimeter player they want. This game will be a blowout and Indiana should get some garbage at the end to put the game over after the starters sit in the 4th. Lakers 121 Indiana 95 If this is your analysis, why not just take LAL -9? |

Great writeup. I was on UNLV until I read this, now I might make it a no play. Hard to argue with what youve said here.
