I will be placing 11 units on Florida to win the national title game against Houston.

Juwan Robert’s is the only matchup advantage Houston has in this game. 

we’ve seen how Florida handles these type of post up players. They ready for a team like Houston who isn’t going to light up any score board. 

charles Barkley said it perfectly you can’t attempt to run a slower pace against this Florida team unless you are able to turn them over and i highly doubt Walter Clayton is going to go cold in the biggest game of his life after back to back 30+p games of which only Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlin, and Jerry West has done. That’s it and now Walter Clayton joins that group of players.

Florida just shut down Petiford so I don’t think they will have an issue keeping Uzan from having a ridiculous stat line he’s been cold especially going up against a guy in Kon Kunippel who he should have been eating against. Florida has Elijah Martin a player who took the FAU owls to a final four a seasons ago. Hes going to be up in his face all game long and for Smart the wing play for Houston I’ll take Will Richard in that matchup as well. 

Florida is the only team in the county that did not double team big men for dagger 3s on kick outs vs Johni Broome The same for Jt Toppin. 

Houston isnt able to run with this Florida team and if Florida can get out in transition it will be a long night for the cougars. Florida just played a team very similar to this Houston team in Auburn, Texas Tech, and Tennessee a team they ended up beating by 40 this year. 

Houstons bench is ice cold and we already saw what this Florida team did to Maryland a team with any bench scoring. If Houston were to get in foul trouble they don’t have a guy off the bench unlike Florida who can throw waves at you off the bench with two more guys in Irvan Klavchar an Sam Alexis

While Houston has an undersized front court that will have trouble with Florida who are great at screening lanes for the guards to drive in the lane, that’s an underrated aspect nobody will say on covers, but its very true Alex Condon is great at creative gaps for guards to drive.

Houston simply has settled for Lj Cryer 27 footers way too much in the season for the run to continue in my eyes and they need to keep Florida under 65p IMO to win this game. That’s a tough ask for a Florida team that has a 136.7 offensive efficiency rating on KENPOM that ranks second all time only behind the 1997 Wisconsin basketball team

 I’m a Florida fan that has not missed a game all season. I’m much more confident going up an undersized Houston team than I am facing that Duke team. 

Houston led for 18 seconds tonight 

( similar to 2015 Wisconsin beating Kentucky 38-0 and wasn’t able to deliver vs Duke ) 

Florida doesn’t “shorten” the bench. They throw multiple units at you all game.
