Former capitol police officer Michael Fanone says no American politician has done more to normalize political violence in the US other than Trump.  By pardoning hundreds of rioters convicted of assaulting police on January 6 2021.  Trump uses Kirk's death to sow more division and advocate for violence instead of uniting the country.  

US is better off importing nearly 50% of all fruits and vegetables from other countries because of lower prices.  Some foods cannot be naturally grown in the US except at higher costs.

Republican leaders call for violence against democrats.  For examples, Trump, Kirk, Bannon, Greene, Patel and others.  In contrast, no democrat leader incites violence against republicans.  GOP is the party of hate speech, autocracy, conspiracy theories and lies.

No other president in office has ever sued an independent news organization.  Lawsuit against New York times follow similar lawsuits against Times, Wall street journal, CNN, NBC and ABC news.  Obvious abuses of power and weaponization of government to punish perceived political enemies for no good reason.   Perception of press freedom as threat, control of media and war against truth are among characteristics of fascism.

Military bases have strict gun safety regulations.  Guns are stored locked and unloaded when not in use.  Personnel are prohibited from carrying personal guns unless authorized by senior officer.  Research shows states with weakest gun laws have higher rates of gun violence.  More guns in more places don't make US safer.  If they did, US should be the safest country in the world.  Instead US has 25 times the gun homicide rate as peer nations.

Political violence is made more likely by weak gun laws. Harder for police to secure public areas when more people are allowed to carry guns around.

Trump administration plan to keep inefficient coal power plants operating could cost consumers between $3-6 billion a year according to report from Environment defense fund.  Problem is that old plants slated for retirement are no longer cost competitive.  Electricity from coal costs more than natural gas, solar or wind.

Charlie Kirk is not a good man turned activist to push some noble cause.  He is basically similar to Trump by promoting Christian nationalism to enrich himself.  He spreads hate, misinformation, intolerance and conflict.  Unlike the bible which is about love, understanding, forgiveness and peace.

Appeals court rejects Trump bid to fire fed governor Lisa Cook.  Abuse of power for the convicted felon to fire government employees without real cause.

Right wing bigots lead a political crusade to demonize a harmless minority.  Limiting access to washrooms, identification documents, medical care and protections against discrimination in education and employment.  Contempt for civil rights is among characteristics of fascism.

Teachers are usually more honest and trustworthy than politicians and business executives.  School, science and media are traditional institutions of truth under attacks.  Constantly lying, Trump war against truth is among characteristics of fascism.  

Police reports history of violence at Trump rallies.  For example, January 6 attack on capitol.  Scapegoating, suppression of opposition and glorification of violence are among characteristics of fascism.

Extremist Charlie Kirk opposed Civil rights act and Martin Luther King.  Landmark law banned discrimination in public places and provided for integration in schools and made employment discrimination illegal.  Instead he endorsed racist "great replacement theory" and made a profitable career out of spreading hate toward fellow Americans.

Survey of historians rank Trump as the worst president in executive appointments.  Incompetent Patel is another controversial pick.  In social media post, he claims suspect was in custody while Utah officials said shooter was still at large.  Suspect was only arrested after father identified him from FBI photos.  Early unverified tips were leaked to the public that claimed agents found engravings on ammunition.  Actually, no bullet casings were connected to transgender people.  

Millions of Americans could be at risk of higher healthcare costs because of republican spending cuts unless subsidies are extended.  Risk of government shutdown if no bipartisan deal in congress.

Claims of anti-white racism are raised mainly by far right extremists to de-legitimize DEI programs.  But from a political perspective, anti-white racism does not exist because white population has the most power in white majority countries.

Trump lies about political violence.  He tries to paint democrats as extreme and violent while ignoring right wing violence.  Fact is the most frequent perpetrators of domestic terrorism have been far right extremists according to FBI and Center for strategic studies.  Unlike Trump, no democrat leader promotes violence as a solution to problems.

Mass shooters often appear to be normal people.  Angry young men with access to guns.  No criminal record.  No mental illness.

In Brazil, former president Bolsonaro has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for plotting coup against government.  In contrast, Trump is re-elected president after attack on capitol.  Apparent problem with US justice system.  History shows presidential governments are more vulnerable to corruption and usually end in coups in most countries.

According to Daily beast, grandmother of shooting suspect says that her family is all MAGA republican.  Not really surprising because other shooting suspects are republican too.  But Trump and others quickly blame democrats for shooting?  Obviously, most divisive president in US history is not someone who can calm and unify a divided country.
