I posted this in the "Other Pro Basketball" forum yesterday and it's gotten two views... lol So, I thought I'd post it here too, just in case there is interest

The TBT is a basketball tournament, sixty teams made up of former pro and college players vying for a "winner takes all" $1 million prize. Championship is today at 4 pm ET being played at Koch arena in Wichita: Aftershocks vs Eberlein Drive. The Aftershocks have three or four former Wichita State players and the crowd is solidly behind them, I am told. 

I played the Aftershocks ML -120 yesterday. Today they are -132 and -1.5 @ -107.

If you're playing this or decide to check it out, please add you thoughts.

They use an "Elam Ending" where the game clock is turned off at the first stop under four minutes in the 4th Q, a target score of the leading score plus eight is set. The first team to reach that score wins.

For those of you who might have seen a post or two of mine know this is just a hobby to me. I do take my plays seriously, but the money's not. 

Congrats to those of you on the right side of yesterday's collapses, not just the Pirates, others as well, you all have mentioned. We all need those now and then. 

But for those on the wrong side... what a gut punch. I'm not going to offer any words, if you lost significant money (and that's whatever is significant to you, not what the internet says should be), words don't help. May we all find our way.

I generally live bet favorites if a mishap happens early, and the line improves... something I think they will overcome. If I like a dog I will generally bet it pre-game. Disclaimer: I'm just a gambling hobbyist betting beer money. When I lose, I don't lose big, nor do I win big.

Can't complain about a 2-0 start... Morton didn't get the win but continued his about-face from the start of the season..  Cubs/Twins went as expected.

It's been a month since I've posted much, but I'm still out here, adrift. Currently up 440, betting 10-40 / game. No real consistency, but then I'm just a gambling hobbyist anyway, betting beer money.

Here are my early plays, I could get into more detail but thirty years of gambling has only proven, I can analyze with the best of them and still be 180 degrees wrong  

Baltimore Orioles +127 vs New York Mets 12:05pm ET. I'm banking on the post-May 17 Morton showing up.

Chicago Cubs -111 @ Minnesota Twins 1:10pm ET. Taking Rea over Paddack.
