I like the Texas Tech play...Oregon State normally plays their best ball in Corvallis, but they are now 0-2 straight up and ATS there, and going into a hostle environment at Tech...

Spottie - i am so disgusted with my Longhorns after going 0-2 ATS, but I am intrigued with your play.  San Jose was embarrassed by an inferior team the week before, and played hard against Texas for 60 minutes.  Arch Mannings int in the end zone right before the half killed the momentum and early in the 3rd one of starting wide receivers Moore got injured.    The scrubs had a chance to drive in for a cover, but Gibson fumbled.    Perhaps they will get an ear full this week, and try to honor their so called mantra of “All Gas No Breaks, and beat this sorry miner team by 50 plus…Is this a firm play or just a lean at this point?  Good luck this week.

Georgia has covered five straight seasons...The future does not necessarily equal the past, but its something to think about...I like your lean ATS on UGA...

The non-cover by Texas was disappointing.   They are not executing.   Should be on everyone’s no play list going forward until they can demonstrate that they can play as their supposed mantra says “all gas no breaks…10 points in the 2nd half against an over matched team is not impressive.

I had a terrible week 1, but you did not post any comments, until after the results.  It speaks poorly of your character.   I have dug myself a hole, but I plan to have a winning record by the end of the season.   Good luck on your picks in week 2, and subsequent weeks.

To the posters on Covers who have appreciated my contributions to this forum for the last 18 years, thank you..,

To the bullies like JJWoods, and a few others, I have always tried to be positive and supportive of my fellow cappers.  I may disagree with pick, but that’s what this forum is all about, right, to help each other get better so we can best the books.    In retrospect, JJWoods, I should have taken the high road and ignored your insults, including your requisite post after I went 0-7 this week ATS mocking me.     You are a disruptive and toxic presence on this forum.    Which is unfortunate, because you have a lot of capping knowledge to offer.  You lost a lot of respect from the members of this forum by piling on when I had a bad week…and I am sure you “will” sustain this bad behavior for the remainder of this season or until you get banned again.   My fellow longtime posters may not tell you via post, but they respect my record for honesty and respect, and they prima facie see how you have treated me, and shake their heads in disgust.

To the Covers Moderators, is this the kind of forum that you want, where you allow posters like JJWoods to run rough shod over me and others with pure slander…and berate us when we have bad weeks…I don’t think long term that is  good for business…You need to clean up this forum and make it about sharing capping knowledge..and warn those exhibiting poor behavior like JJWoods and/or ban them all together.  

I will post my week 2 NCAAF picks in a few days…and so on through the end of the season, no matter the record.  I believe in my system and my personal integrity.   I don’t desire a following and I have always encouraged all cappers to do their own research.

i will continue to respond to those who provide constructive and/or encouraging comments to my picks.  And I will ignore from now on the malcontents like JJWoods…If you respect me, then I will respect you.. I hope for a better week 2…

I will no longer acknowledge posters on the Covers NCAAF Forum who are disrespectful of me.  I will immediately report abusive posts, and perhaps one day the moderators will ban them permanently.   And no, I am not being too sensitive.  If they abuse and mock me, they will abuse you too if you dare challenge them or if you have a bad week like I did in week 1.  Call them what they are.. narcissistic gaslighters…  I have spoken my peace, and I hope to have a better week 2…GLTA…
