Titans with the first pick of the night that can absolutely be a bust, with the OT from Bama |

So if this scenario were to happen, they could still get a QB(not named Caleb Williams), with 3 to 4 more picks including next year. They got Caleb at 1, and should keep their pick at 9 and draft an immediate impact player. If Caleb is the right pick, and I believe he is, then your Bears are ready to win now, this year. No time to F around with moving down, get a difference maker and go make some noise |

@StumpTownStu Or ... Instead of raising the minimum wage to $20, how about lowering the tax rate on ALL products. It is a fact that the largest percentage of cigarette smokers are low income, so would it not make sense to lower the tax on smokes? Their thought process was that the exorbitant taxes on cigs would motivate folks to quit smoking. It didn't work. Gas taxes are ridiculous. Sales tax is high. Every kind of tax is extremely inflated in CA. The $20 min wage will hurt more people than it will help. Does anyone believe that corporations who employ 100's or 1,000's of fast food workers are going to eat the extra payroll expense? Not even California politicians can be that dumb. The result is that many jobs will be lost, while prices will FURTHER increase. I am not opposed to raising the minimum wage, but for every ying there is a yang. The ramifications of this increase will most likely outweigh the benefits. For the record, I do not, nor will I ever, live in CA

Keenan Allen was at USC’s pro day. Absolutely 100% the right move to trade Fields and draft a QB. NFC North is going to be so good |

Now to show how some stats can be misleading ... Since 1950 there have only been 2 QB's to improve year to year, in each of their first 3 years (min 10 starts) in each of the following 5 categories; Wins Pass Yds Completion % INT % Passer Rating Those 2 QB's are ... Josh Allen Justin Fields

Since 2001 only 2 QB's have won fewer than 20 games and lost at least 25 games. They are now both on the Steelers Russ Wilson 17-27 Justin Fields 10-28 |

@iConsciousness It's a great day for all Bears fans. For the first time since the 1950's they will have a legit NFL QB

Been a great NFL off-season, with a decent amount of trades with a few total surprises, plus some interesting free agent signings. Been a fun off-season .... unless you're a fan of the Cowboys Although Dallas did sign Eddie Kendricks. His best work is behind him, mostly with the Temptations

If they draft one of the QB's at #1 (Jayden Daniels?) and that QB is legit, than they can afford to keep all their young talent, and have plenty of money to spend on FA's to help the rookie QB along. A drafted QB might not be the answer, but the same can be said for Fields. Only one of them is going to have a big contract very soon. |
