Dude no offense but if you think SMU is a better football team than Alabama you’re just part of the whole reason we needed 12 teams. You must have forgotten how the SEC walked all over the 4 team playoff year after year w a couple exceptions. There are 8 or 9 teams in the SEC better than SMU. Maybe more? What’s the spread on SMU vs Florida or Oklahoma or fucking Vanderbilt or Auburn.

is SMU favored on any of those teams fields? They all came in 10th or worse in the SEC. SMU plays an SEC schedule and what’s their record? They are just gonna run through it right?!

the ACC sucks it’s a shame them and the big12 are considered to be major conferences because they aren’t and there are 12 teams across the big ten and SEC that would smoke them all.

 I think it is pretty fair to point out to the rest of the forum that buying a point and a half is a highly volatile strategy that is widely recognized as a losing play.  you can buy a half point to get to or through a key number but anything past that is suicide long term.
