Maybe the narrative is that the kid will poop the bed on the big stage of New York, but that doesn't seem like his makeup to me.

Amazing with the stuff that Cease has that he can be winless on the road through half a season and have a road ERA of 6.26. And that's probably with Maldonado catching him most of the time.

Travel is the main reason for the Jays play. Waited and got a better price with Guerrero out.

Big difference in recent form between Pepiot and Sugano. Pepiot dominated them a few weeks ago and I'm not so sure the hitters have the advantage the second time around.

Brandon Young did not look like a major league pitcher when he was up earlier in the year (2 starts - 11 hits and 8 walks in 8 2/3 IP). And the Orioles have just 14 career at bats against deGrom who has shockingly gotten some run support recently.

Not trying to reinvent the wheel here. An opener and Festa shouldn't be favored against a hardnosed team that isn't happy just taking two of three.

Choppy first half of the season for me, we'll see if we can't get things turned around.

Mets off a west cost swing and dealing with altitude after leaving Colorado is never easy. Gore, when he's on, can be dominant. Nats have some quality young guys that will probably want to play well in NY. Martinez an underrated manager (in my opinion).

I like Abbott to bounce back off a a bad start against a team that struggles against lefties. Without Ramirez, the Guardians are the White Sox (hitting-wise).

Rays hitting just .160 off of Giolito (8 for 50), but it isn't 2023 anymore.
