In the gym, inside of a glass enclosure riding the spinning bike. Hear a yell, fly off my bike, crash through the door to find a man pinned to a bench with 225 barbell on his throat.
There was a dude RIGHT next to him just standing there not doing a mother garbaging thing to help this poor garbaging man.

Human race fascinates me.
Lakers/Heat. I don't know yet.
Another example, of many, of why people in general basically suck.

I myself used to think that you are semi-sagfe if you are in a public place. LIke if someone tries to attack you ith a weapon or someone that a crowd of 50 people would intervene somehow. But the more and more vids you see or things you encounter in real life prove that no 1 gives a flying sh1t in the end . Scary and sad

Instinctively, almost everyone would immediately help out a fellow weightlifter in distress. Since the guy next to him did not help, he probably was responsible for the "accident" and had a score to settle.

That's about the only explanation I can come up with. Didn't look at him for more than 5 seconds but the girls around said he was definitely big enough to pull the barbell off of the guy. Also looked around after the incident and noticed that everybody was looking at the scene but doing nothing. Of course they were wearing headphones.

The guy couldn't talk because the bar had pressed so hard on his upper rib cage. I just kept asking him if he could breath ok and to sit and stay calm. I tolf him to give me a thumbs up if he wanted paramedics. 20 minutes later he was ok and thanked me 20x.
On my way there now and hopefully will see the bystanding douche. He'll get a lecture on human decency.
These things happen to me almost monthly out in public.
