Most threads that have had an easy pick in them over the years that I have been here have lost so I might just have to take Columbus tonight.

Yeah I saw you say that the first time. Back up your statment with why you think it. Too mnany people on these boards make silly proclamations but don't back them up with explanations.
If its so easy, explain what makes you feel that way. Thats the whole point of these boards--information exchange.

Generally the threads that get skipped over b/c...whats the point, I know. But, every so often I can't help myself from asking people to simply explain themselves.

See, here’s the issue with making bold proclamations (win or lose) without backing them up with reasoning. They just become pointless forum fodder. There are more than enough daily posts where people just make posts without much in the way of explaining their thinking.
You show up with a new account just last month and proclaim, “been pretty hot lately” on Jan 17 even though you’ve never posted on the board so the fact you’ve “been pretty hot” is really pointless because without documenting it, its just a worthless exclamation.
You follow that bold announcement of how hot you’ve been with giving an unexplained pick of Under 135 in Southern Illinois/Chicago Loyola. It’s a loss. L
Posted a win on UC Santa Barbara -7 on 1/20 to follow that up. W
1-22 Under151 Appalachian State. Lose. L
1-31 You proclaim Bama -5 to be an “easy DD win.” They lose 60-69. L
2-5 NC Central -3.5 “Take it to the bank!” They lose 70-86 L
Then you show up on the hockey boards and say the same thing you had said a month earlier on the college basketball boards “been very hot in hockey the last month” and even though you’ve been on these boards during that time you’ve never once posted one of these “very hot” hockey picks. Until now with “CAPS ML LARGE” with no reasoning behind it other than. Now I'm writing this as the Caps are up 4-2 but regardless...give some insight.
When asked why, the response “easy play.”
I see 1 winner in 5 posted picks. Doesn’t make you a bad guy but try not to be so bold and if you feel strongly about something, give your reasoning. Its not as if you have a track record of success wherein anyone should just take you at your word.

I'm not worried. I don't blindly follow anybody and this game wasn't a game wherein I had any side as I saw no angles to warrant a bet.

You only have a record of losing on here, my friend and you continue to ignore explaining why you chose the pick.
Strange how you've been here this last month or so and haven't posted any of those 9 winners.

Jackets pretty much controlled the entire game and outshot them 37-17. Win is a win but no real angle heading into it, imo. Caps had lost 4 of 5 on home ice. Jackets have been losing.
