Ducks on the backend of a back to back and 4th in 6 nights but they have a great record in that situation. Nashville would appear to be the easy slam dunk play but upon looking at the game we see Ryan Miller might get the start. Miller is who was injured for a spell this season is quietly providing some stellar netminding for a Ducks team that has struggled while battling a slew of injuries this season.
In his last start Miller allowed just one goal on 34 shots but ended up losing 2-1 via the shootout. His record this season is 2-0-3 so he is still unbeaten in regulation time. His other numbers are beyond impressive as well in the limited sample size he is sporting a 1.63 gaa and a wicked save percentage of .950. his lifetime record against Nashville during his career he sports a 7-3-3 record, a 1.93 gaa and a .931 save percentage with 2 shutouts. Most of those losses came playing behind a really bad Canucks team the last few seasons but he still maintained great numbers vs the Preds despite that.
Pekke Rinne also has great numbers vs the Ducks...14-6-5 with a 2.36 and save percentage of .919, not quite as good as his counterpart if the two do indeed square off but still great numbers.
Was just looking at the game and this massive line they put out on the Preds and found some of the numbers quite compelling. Would this be Millers first regulation time loss? Will the Preds finally get to him, he has been red hot in his starts this season and always plays amazing vs the Preds. All the numbers also put to an Under. The Ducks have a strong record in this seemingly tired situation.
Interesting game, feel free to share anything you have to add.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

I'll probably take Ducks +1 at +money. Only thing that worries me is that the Preds are coming off a home loss as a big favorite. Could be a little extra motivation for them, especially because they're accustomed to winning at home.

Looking to parlay Nashville with Tampa Bay and Clemson in College Ball. Normally I would take a good look at the Ducks in this spot but they have so many key guys out just can't do it.
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.
