The game has become so offensive that is sometimes feels like a video game. Anyone wanna make any changes that helps the defense out? Virtually every change makes some of these teams unstoppable. You gotta get pressure up the middle on these Qbs or attack with a corner because without pressure its like practice. They did the same with baseball. Thats what the roid era was about the cool HR. I like a great defensive game in any sport just as much. Love those old 85 blitz Bears. Thats more exciting than endless passing

If they wanna run, then they're gonna get lit up. Same with dancing down the sideline. Get rid of late out of bounds hit penalties. Either they run straight out of bounds before someone gets close to them or they don't run at all.
Too many of these protect the QB rules lets them just get away with all sorts of shit on offense now.
50-60 point games are the norm. It's starting to be more and more like college. People see big numbers and equate it with exciting. It's dumb just watching defenses run in circles looking like they don't know what to do, or that they can't actually do anything.

Taunting penalty…the refs can interpret whatever they feel is a taunt when in reality the player being penalized is just hyped and celebrating or just talking chit.
ive seen countless games where it changed the outcome of a game because a ref felt someone’s feelings got hurt

Agree with taunting. Plus, it's silly that pointing your finger like a gun is a specifically banned taunt.
Illegal Man Downfield is another one I agree with.
But I hate the "hip-drop tackle," something no one ever heard of until recently. Something that is so hard to call in the moment, they told the refs not to call it, and enforcement is handled by fines from 345 Park after the game. Begging the question, if it is so hard for the refs to call it in the moment, then how exactly are the players supposed to tackle someone from behind in the moment without getting fined?

How about in overtime after the coin toss (your choice of course receive or defer) you can take and have as many Downs as you would like to score with a running count of downs then if the opposition does it in less Downs wins the game and if you get intercepted while it's your possession add five downs the count stops there and the team that intercepted continues the game from there if it's there first possession or said interception finalizes the game. How's that for an overtime concept!?

If offense fumbles ball through end zone they should keep possession starting in 20 yard line.
Im sure I will catch crap for this... but how about if game is tied after OT... It turns into a kickout. Maybe start at 20 yard line and back up 5 yards until someone misses. Or maybe just kick 50 yard fgs until someone misses. Anything is better than a tie, but I get trying to avoid injuries.

Bring back my avatar. Pick up any player with the ball and drop them on their head. Todays players are a joke. Also we need to get Ronnie Lott back to destroy any receiver in the area. Really does anyone play defense like Butkus, Lambert, etc anymore? The last player who could was Ray Lewis.
