People forget the fact that it's grown men out there playing a sport. Every single human being on the field is a complete monster who dominated in college who's a world class athlete, some teams better than others of course there's no doubt about that. But there's also a lot of human element, luck, referees, and things that we don't even consider. Maybe Josh Allens wife was caught maybe he caught her texting another man the other night and his mind's been occupied consider. There's psychological aspects to the game maybe josh allen's wife has a crush on his best friend and it's been in the back of his mind. Who knoes, it could be a million things at any given time.
My point is these aren't machines out there they are human beings and the better team is not always going to win. Bookies feast on people who think they can do good at this. Another poster made a really good point the human race is clueless we think we know things and we don't. Look at that interstellar object that's in our solar system right now. Its bascially re-writing our astrophysics book. Its comedy how our scientists declare things to be true. Its part of the human condiiton. We are just arrogant upright walking apes who just yesterday was sure the Earth is flat and it revolves around the Sun. For many years I have always stated I would be willing to be money that more than half of the things in our astronomy books are absolutely false. 3I Atlas has proven that to be fact.
We are extremely primitive animals. Look at the state of the world. Theres still wars going on for crying out loud. People starving to death by the tens of thousands while billionaires sit with enough money in their bank account to end world hunger and they still choose to work for more.
They are no words to describe how horrible of a species we are. Its very possible that the reason we have never encountered aliens face to face is because they are intelligent enough to avoid us, what good could possibly come from humanity if you are enlightened and technologically advanced enough to travel those vast interstellar distances. We will just probably try to kill and destroy them because we are a bigoted culture that naturally tries to exploit and destroy anything different from us that we encounter.
People still entertain the notion that we could be the only planet in the universe that supports life. It is the most insanely absurd and egocentric insinuation one can make. Theres more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on the Earth. And idiots still start sentences with "Are we alone" etc, or something similar.
The only possibly way we could be alone is if the universe is not what it seems, and if that were true, that would still mean theres something other than us, because this would have to some kind of created simulation by something else.
In any case what I am saying is people are very misled, clueless, ignorant, primitive, delusional and egocentric by nature. We know absolutely nothing and we think we know everything.
People are not able to pick the outcome of grown men playing a game when the skill level of all players is way more balanced than generally perceived and then cry that its rigged. Because in your world all you are thinking about is your bet. Its the spotlight illusion. Thinking the world revolves around you and your bet How many times have people cried rigged game just because someone scored late in the game. Apparently teams should just lay down and stop trying to win the game late in ballgames because Joe Jerkoff bet the Bills moneyline. No way should I ever lose, the Bills were favored, they have Josh Allen.
Humanity has got a long way to go.
