I too am small time and not a heavy bettor. True, picking all favorites dont seem to do well. But you know what, it's sports and anything can happen. Even "pros" dont get em right all the time. No one can predict a game changing injury or an ill timed fumble at the goal line. These things are variables that can make or break a spread possibly.
Read the forums and you'll see everyone thinking they have the right picks for whatever reason they handicapped or whatever. Someone will always be wrong at some point.
Good luck on your picks, I dont think they are all bad but thats me.
Im on KC as well as Houston.
TB is scary to me. I think that can go either way.
Panthers are my team and Im to scared to take that even at home. I took them last years opener vs Seattle and got screwed. I am considering the over tho in case Cam and Co. Put up some offense. They can score hight 20s-30s when clicking.

Dragnframe, that's cool. It is fun if you keep the right perspective. This site had real good people who gladly offer advice. Just remember one thing: the majority of people lose at sports wagering. It may take you years to understand what I'm talking about, but please understand that is the truth. Best of luck always.

i dont understand this bashing. its called gambling and you like who you like. just because you're betting public plays doesn't mean you're gonna lose all the time. you live lose/win/learn. all part of gambling. with that said BOL dragn

Thanks Guys, for taking the time to reply. I am reading all these with an open mind so I can try to learn as much as possible.
Can you tell me some reasons not to take TB,KC,HOU?
I like Tb cause with geno smith starting the jets are gonna be limited to what plays they can run because of geno.
Kc to me with alex smith, charles, and bowe should have no problem putting up points against the jags.
Hou, when healthy have been able to play with the best of them and starting out on monday everybody his healthy. Johnson,Matt,Foster,Tate, On def cushing is back with JJ. No way SD hangs with them.
Again, thanks for all the advice I look forward to learning from the masters here as much as I can. lol
