WTF are you talking about?? The elements aren't too terrible my ass. Have you ever played a football game in those conditions?? It's more than terrible. It's torture.
And you say the high will be 15 degrees huh. Ok. That high temp will be at 1pm with the sun high in the sky. How cold you think it's gonna be once the sun sets and at kickoff??? I'll take a guess from experience and say about 2-3 degrees. Factor in ANY wind and you're looking at sub-zero temps. And let's not talk about that concrete slab pretending to be a football field. The Vikings punter is right. Fieldturf at those temps is absolutely unplayable. The last time we've seen a game under these conditions was the 2007 NFC championship at Lambeau between the Giants and Packers. And those that remember, it was so cold that night, Tom Coughlin's face looked like a cherry around the 3rd quarter.
Still think the elements won't be too terrible?

Compared to Chicago last week and Pittsburgh yesterday the conditions will be better. This is the warmest and calmest weather we've seen in three weeks. I'm not saying the field itself won't be a factor but the weather should be fine. Similar weather last year in Chicago between these two teams and 66 points were scored. Biggest factors are Joe Webb starting and Vikes without both starting guard including All-Pro Steve Hutchinson. Line has not played well all year, but with those two out they are terrible. Good luck either way.
