Week 2 is the overreaction week 

...so why is every talking head who says that is burying the dolphins as dead ? . I believe there is a huge trend bounceback in week 2 after getting bludgeoned week one. ....i actually heard it last year when the panthers got crushed.  interestingly have not heard any such support for miami

The patriots pass defense was atrocious vs the raiders. The patriots never win in Miami. Players only meeting season defining game here. The patriots dc is taking a leave of absence. 

The only way I can play this game is miami

Which Panthers game are you talking about? Last year the Panthers started the season 1-7 ATS, and lost 7 out of their first 8 games. Every one of those losses was by at least 10. 

Game 1 they lost 47-10 against the Saints. They followed that up with a 26-3 loss to the Chargers.

Because they were completely irredeemable last week, it was exceptionally bad. Why would you want to back a garbage team when there are so many higher EV options?

Lions also got trounced in week 1, at least that bounce back play has some rational reason why it could happen. 

The Dolphins lost their last game by almost 4 touchdowns. The patriots are having their own issues, this is going to be a slop fest where anything could happen but at -1.5 I’d be more likely to fade the dolphins, than back them. 

your money though, anything is possible.
