Your reasoning is simplistic “how could everyone be in on it” “don’t you think a player would talk”. It’s way above that and you’re not that smart that’s why you bet and they take your money. Now they’ve got everyone chasing Celts, OKC and Wolves. Couldn’t have had a better start for the books. Think about it, if Celts and OK. Cover ats who’s chasing what? Now everyone is chasing, it’s brilliant.

Pretty much. They cleaned up on all Round 2 Game 1's, straight took all the ML parlay legs as well. Then a lot of people would probably take the favorite to definitely wake up and respond to win/cover Game 2. Cavs are like the KC Chiefs of the NBA regular season apparently.
It's like people chasing on the Lakers figuring they're not gonna go out without a fight and take it to Game 6.
I definitely fell for some of it myself.
Not sure the books have done great......the major books tracked by scoresandodds showed 66 percent of tickets on Nuggets in game one plus the points and 57 percent of the money.....Knicks were also bet more than the Celtics on the spread.......the money line betting probably favored the books but its not as cut and dried as you claim by any means....
