Boston won’t attempt 60 threes again and will adjust. I still think Boston will advance. 2-2 going back to Boston, Celtics in 6 or 7.
OKC though. >>
Nikola Jokic is the best player in the OKC series and tonight reminded me of the time Hakeem Olajuwon lost the MVP to David Robinson and proceeded to destroy Robinson in a playoff series.
Winning game 1 on the road is always critical for the road team to win the series and Denver has done that.
I don’t know what odds currently are but I will be putting some money on Denver to advance. Maybe this OKC team just isn’t ready yet. In a tie game with 2 mins left. I would rather have Joker, Murray and Gordon over SGA and the young Thunder.
Experience favor is huge. No one can stop Joker on OKC. Chet is too small

OKC had days off….. Denver has the experience but OkC needs to get back in rhythm. Once that machine starts working efficiently….. Good luck with that…..
113-102 4 mins left......
Late collapse....
Bones missing both FT's ended up being the death blow...

I agree. As much as I love my Knicks as I am from New York I dont think they are getting past Boston, maybe Boston in 6 but not in 5. I can see a finals rematch Boston vs Pacers for the east.
OKC was spoonfed versus Memphis, 1st round outright was served on a silver platter. Now facing the Nuggets their real playoff starts. Jokic will be too good and too consistent to be stopped by Chet or iHart and they havent seen Murray and MPJ put up shots last night. They really have a problem. Wild take, Denver in 5.

Tough OT loss for Boston, but the series is far from over . OKC played solid too, just a 2-point loss. Denver’s experience showed, and Jokic did his thing.

If OKC manages to win in Denver, it would completely shift the momentum of the series. They’re young but have shown a lot of resilience. Even though Denver has the experience, this squad plays fearless. A 7-game showdown would be great for both teams and the NBA. It would test OKC’s growth under pressure and show if they’re ready to contend now or still need more time to mature.

@ActionMagnet RIGGED to the MAX. Celtics losing a 20 point lead. NBA is a joke.
The hilarious part was how it hit 213 even with OT, and stayed Under by the hook.
You're telling me a professional sports team and coaching staff won't make adjustments in-game and will just ride out the "3s are worth more than 2s cause analytics" when the shooting was abysmal that night in a playoff game at home?

Why would Celtics not shoot 60 3s again? You think they’re going to miss 45 more often than not? They barely lost while missing 45 3’s. If they missed 44 or 43, they probably would have won. If they missed 40, they probably would have blown out the Pacers.
As for OKC, they have the individual defenders to lock down “the others.” Jokic can score 40 but if OKC plays their stout defense, and the big men stay out of foul trouble then it’s going to be a short series.
Just my .2c
