OKC up 117-114 why did OKC foul Joker ? 12 secs left

Does anyone know ? was it deliberate? Caruso fouled

 To prevent potential tying 3 point attempt everything was going according the plan untill holgrem clank 2 fts

 They were not going to shoot a 3 from half court, not point to foul so early . 

Fouling up 3 is fine if the other team has no timeouts left and if it’s less than 5 seconds. 

Fouling that many times up 3 with so much time left puts unnecessary pressure on your team to make free throws. 

Agreed. You’re putting more pressure on your own team than the opposing team.

Terrible coaching down the stretch. Like most people are saying, you don’t start fouling up 3 with that much time left. 

How about play defense first??? Duh ??

 Lol do u have any concept of logic.U are leading and you apply this strategy as long as you are up 3.u prevent 3 point attempt that a sole objective.Of course you have to make a ft and your opponent too.

Make no mistake that was a coach in Mark Daigneault, who felt his team's collective butt hole pucker. He was so concerned his team might give up a 4 point play, he was fouling in the backcourt up 3. 

Same thing that happened last year. When the Thunder aren't blowing teams out and it gets to crunch time, SGA has no help. I saw a bunch of deer in the headlights from OKC. 

Now the doubt will come back on if this team is truly ready for this type of competition.  Joker is on a mission.

horrible coaching, extended the game unnecessarily, plus adding too much pressure to his young inexperienced team in a closeout situation

also, i wonder if SGA could just run down the clock when he stole the ball from denver inbound, until he gets fouled

 I don't a give a rats ass how much time is left in the game.  2 players camped in the lane on the foul shot.  It is a lane violation, PERIOD.
