I improved to 3-0 in playoffs and 12-6 overall with Indiana's win over Milwaukee Tuesday.
1* Knicks +1 1/2
Home court is irrelevant in the post-season and especially in this series. The road team is 4-1 SU. Yet the line keeps moving back and forth by seven points depending on where the game is played. The Knicks are simply the better team and will likely show it tonight. Detroit has surived this series on intense defense, great hustle and terrible in-game coaching by New York's Thibodeau. Thib's teams are so over-used during regular season they have trouble cranking it up in post-season. So why play New York? Overhwelming motivation for the Knicks here and a sense Detroit has been overachieving. Knicks have shot terribly in all but game one of this series but the defense has been okay, holding Pistons to mid-forties every game. Lone negative: teams facing elimination play real tough and Detroit will not go down easily. On the other hand, Karl Anthony Townes is the second most passive player in the NBA (nobody will ever touch Ben Simmons on that one) but when playing with passion he's a legit superstar. I'm counting on Knicks finding passion tonight after the poor performance at home in Game 5. Key stat: Knicks 13-2 SU after a home loss this season
