Totals keep climbing if you're betting the over all it takes is one two minute cold streak and you're done the fast pace in the fast game. Your brain makes you bet over that's what Vegas hopes for.

you've got to be insane to take an under...the end of qtrs, especially 1st and 2nd I've seen 25pts in 2 minutes and the under goes poof by a point or 2, it's like their racing to a #...the Mavs/Lakers game destroyed my soul with those shenanigans

Swear I see this a lot at the end of games too, even when they pull everyone and put in the 3rd stringers - it's like they play zero defense, or foul the hell out of each other, and put up 30+ points and FTs in 2-3 mins of the 4th quarter because they wanna try to show off/stat pad during garbage time
