Perhaps the best Miami has looked since Butlergate. I've always respected Spoelstra and how he has to deal with prima donnas including Bron Bron and still win b2b championships. From a coaching aspect the Heat has the advantage. No discredit to Snyder and how he has helped improve Atlanta statistically.
The Heat will be the first 10 seed to advance with the play in format and play the Cavs. Although this game is a home game line for the Hawks and they have won the two home games vs the Heat, the line says otherwise IMO. Miami is a public play I believe it to be the right side. The Heat has proven recently after the trade they have come to come together chemistry wise. Atlanta still has challenges with youth and lack of veteran leadership in the starting lineup other than Young himself. Snyder says it's his moment to lead. We will see.
As I've said in posts this season, look beyond season stats and look to more momentum and consistency in a team. Heat +1.
Dallas +6.5
Dallas may even win this game. We know what to expect out of Kidd at this point in his 2nd stint with the Mavs. Although Memphis has the season series vs Dallas 3-1, this game features AD in the lineup and a few changes that Memphis has not seen. Having AD, Gafford, and Lively will provide 4/5 spot interior defense. Although Dallas hasn't started a true PG, they have filled the holes with Dinwiddie and Williams. Williams will be the x factor scoring.
On the other, side Interim coach Lisalo a well accomplished coach from PNR. He was brought as an assistant with a 6 figure salary with the intention of taking this team in a new direction IMO. Lisalo runs a motion, uptempo type offense that keeps running. His usage rates of Morant and Bane have increased since the coaching change. Dallas will keep this a half court game with AD in the lineup. Run a bit with a smaller lineup.
BOL today ALL. Got this up early gonna be busy day for me.

Game reminded me of last years OT game when atlanta tied the game with D. Murrays shot. This year its T. Young that hits the tie and Hawks lose in OT just like last years play in...
