A few things here. First, I expect the Yankee bats to regress after the offensive explosion yesterday. Second, the weather is nearly exactly opposite as yesterday. It was high 70s and wind blowing out yesterday. Today in the 50s with the wind blowing in. Stroman and Civale aren't exactly ground ball pitchers, but I think they can weather the storm until the pens take over and shut things down.
Baltimore Orioles +110
Sugano was nearly unhittable in Japan posting a 1.67 ERA last year in 156 IP, and only walked 16 hitters. Unbelievable. With limited film on him, it may take too long for the Jays hitters to adjust, and the O's offense has seen Bassit plenty, and have had moderate to above average success against him. This division is gonna be awesome all year long.
Kansas City Royals -115
Bibee had to skip his scheduled start on Opening Day due to food poisoning from Chipolte...shocking I know...and pitchers are weird fucking dudes. Very much creatures of habit, and when their routine gets thrown off, they mentally can't handle it cause they are so insane. At least thats what I'm telling myself today for this game. Royals offense is also very, very good. If Aaron Judge didn't have a career year last year, Witt would have been the MVP.
St. Louis Cardinals -102
Andre Pallante was our best SP last season, and although that doesn't say a whole lot, cause we weren't any good, he was pretty damn good. Everything he throws is down in the zone, inducing ground balls almost 2/3 of the time. The Twins lineup appeared to be rather weak on paper, and they haven't done anything in their first two games. Gonna fade the cold bats, and jump on the "Youn-gry" birds.
I'm gonna wait on the late slate to be sure no managers are already giving guys days off.

Yeah, I haven’t been able to watch the NBA in 15 years or so. It’s a terrible product in my opinion. NCAA is starting to lose me too. It’s getting too similar to the NBA.

No more unders at Yankee Stadium for me. Wind blowing in doesn't matter in that place.
Cubs/Diamondbacks Over 9 -105
Eduardo Rodriguez hasn't been the same pitcher since coming back from injury last year. I expect the Cubs bats to get to him early and often, and the Snakes to get their fair share off a Boyd. A very underrated offense in the desert, and with the warmer temps, I'd imagine the roof is open and the ball will be carrying for two fly ball pitchers.
A's/Mariners Under 7.5
Sears doesn't have a lot of swing and miss stuff, but he creates weak contact it seems more times than not. Woo isn't going to beat himself with BBs and looks to continue his massive success last year. I heard this statistic and was baffled as well. Seattle is more of a pitcher friendly park, than Coors is a hitter friendly park. Wild.
Good luck today guys and gals

Braves bats have been quiet, but they have too much talent to keep them at bay for long. They certainly don't want to get swept in a 4 game set to start the year, but I don't trust Shawvers as he's prone to giving up the long ball, at least in the minors. So I'll take two good offenses against two pitchers that aren't known for shutting anyone down.
