Chris Sale: He got ROCKED last outing vs Texas giving up 4 HR's and 8 total ER's, so some may say now is the time to fade this young guy and hop on the over...I'm not convinced. He'll be pitching home again tonight where he boasts a 2.65 ERA a 0.95 WHIP and surrenders a .203 opponent batting average (and this is including the home beatdown last week). His numbers statistically have gone up from June-July-August, yet his August numbers were highly inflated due to his last game...I'm willing to give him a free-pass on that game and stick to his season stats against the Astros.
Jarred Cosart: Jarred WHO? I know most of you are probably thinking this, but the kid is good. He's only pitched 45 innings this year, so in relation to other starters in the league, he is still fresh into his own personal season. He has pitched well in those innings, showing a 1.60 era, 1.18 whip, and a .208 opponent avg. Even better though, he has started 5 of his 7 games away, and his numbers are better away. 1.36era, 0.94whip, and a .1.65 opponent avg.
Cosart born in 1990 and Sale born in 1989...both of these teams have nothing to play for obviously, but I'd like to think these pitchers know who they are pitching against. Cosart would love to showcase his talents against a recognized ace in the league and on the flipside, Sale should see that Cosart isn't a walk in the park. I think runs will be at a premium here, and a 3-2 game looks very possible.
** In 1200AB facing LH pitching, Houston has struck out 348 times...a 29% strikeout rate...and they face Sale who ranks 5th in the AL in strikeouts.
I'm usually an over guy as most know and look to exploit bad pitching, but these 2 young guys have me liking the under today.

Thanks for the play(s). I took a hit on dodgers over and was looking for a play. I liked your write up and took under FG and F5. Now I need SD under for a great day. Thanks again
