You tell them Estes.. This is going to be a tight cheeked, sweat job. Between the game under, aTm team total under and the 2h under, I feel a moose is going to steal all my cheddar..

Finished yesterday 7-3-1 and yet still have a bitter taste because USC went and done screwed up something even bigger.. My accountant is still trying to fix the abacus, but I think the ship is sitting on the following economics.. These aren't yet fully audited
Bowls to Date : 29-22-2 +575 units
Sitting at about 57%, which I'll take, but I could name all the forced, impulse bets I made this bowl season that contributed to the 22 in the loss column. The silver lining is the ship was slowly sinking, but yesterday, hopefully, set the sails back on good course
Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl
Houston first half +4 (143 units to win 130)
Houston first half +185 (60 units to win 111)
Florida State team total under 31.5 (121 units to win 110)

Florida State played three teams this season in the top 25 rushing (Houston ranks 13th) and they went 1-2, losing to GTech and Clemson and beating South Florida. In the latter, Dalvin Cook had his best game of the year, shredding the SoFla defense for 266 yards and three scores. Could that happen today? Of course, anything is possible, but I think the aggressive, ball hawking Houston defense will be one of the more impressive takeaways from this one when we look back. How about that Florida State defense? Well, it's good. It's big and fast, but are they really dominant? The defense allowed points of 16, 24, 21, 22 and 21 to Wake, Miami, the Ville, GTech and Syracuse.. These are not great offensive teams, or at least not as good as Houston. This game probably reminds many of a few years back when Florida State dominated Jordan Lynch and the one loss Northern Illinois Huskies. Basically, a young eyes wide opened program getting kicked to the curb by the neighborhood bully. To view this Houston team in that same context, is a tremendous injsutice of the Cougars. This team is better at every aspect of football, both on the field and on the sidelines. The Seminoles will ride and die with Dalvin Cook, but I think Houston will prove more a challenge defensively than most are expecting, so Sean Maguire will be forced into making plays with his arm. And that could be a big problem the way Houston gets after the ball defensively.

Clemson team total under 30 (121 units to win 110)
Not sure who saw the press conference, but Dabo Sweeney appeared a bit defensive when asked about the recent suspensions. Generally, when someone is defensive, they are attempting to deflect attention away from something that is on their mind in a negative manner. It's possible he knows the impact of the talent loss is a big one and I think it could have matchup and depth issues for the Tigers tonight.
I might add a first half bet, still mulling, waiting on the Peach to finish

1pump - hey buddy, FSU a second half team, just hope they don't exceed that team total. Hope all is well.
I posted this earlier, but forgot I had to wait a minute following a previous post, but played this at -110 so 132 units to win 120
I her ya Bud....We just need Hous to grid a little and make some first downs...Jezzzzz. Thought for SURE you would be on Clem for some reason..I have Hous and Clem in a ML parlay....Wisky already in....HUGE payout...GL bud

Well started off yesterday 4-0, dominating the Peach Bowl, then gave some of that back. Apparently, the bright lights of the college football playoff took a toll on me. Offset a couple of the losses and finished the day 6-4-0.
Bowls to Date : 35-26-2 +706 units
Outback Bowl
Northwestern +10 (154 units to win 140)
Northwestern first half +6 (121 units to win 110)
Tennessee team total under 29.5 (121 units to win 110)
Remember that game when the SEC powerhouse dismantled the best team in the Big 10.. oh right, that was last night. The Vols could cover this number, but please don't bet that because of what you saw last night. Northwestern's defense is real good, like better than Michigan State good. It's a system defense, one of frustration, and I see the Vols as a team who can be easily rattled. The Wildcats struggle offensively, but count on seeing some trickery in special teams and in play calling to surprise Tennessee. Pat Fitzgerald has done extremely well in bowls, each playing the role of the underdog. His preparation will show and the execution will keep this within the number.

I normally look to pounce on totals set at or below 40, but in the case of Michigan and Florida, I can't justify that. Florida has scoring outputs of 14, 21, 9, 24, 20 and 2 against Kentucky, Missouri, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Florida Atlantic and Florida State. Harbaugh's defense was, at times, dominant, and now he'd had all this time to focus on what made them dominant. I think Harbaugh leaves an impression today and leaves us all with an eagerness of what will be at Michigan.

Ohio State is pissed, I get it, I get it. And yet still, something wasn't right with that team all year. They always seemed to do enough + a bit to win games and then when they needed more, it just wasn't there. Notre Dame lost two games by a combined four points and while maybe they aren't pissed, they surely will be motivated to knock off the defending national champs. I think defenses will get torched until the point where one will be called on to make a play.. and then I think that will happen for one side.
