NC Central +3.5 -115 1H and +7 -125 (2 bets):
This has been a somewhat down year for the normally strong NC
Central Eagles who are extremely young and have been going through the
typical
growing pains associated with that. That said, they've been playing a
lot better recently are still extremely well coached so that makes them a
dangerous dog. One of their huge edges in this game is at QB and in the
passing game where Bethune Cookman really struggles defending it. In
addition, BCU lost their solid starting QB a few weeks ago and are now
nearly 100% reliant on their running game. This will allow the Eagles to
stack the box on defense and focus solely on stopping BCU's running
game which has been pretty solid all year. However, NCC also has a good
running game of their own and that will provide their offense with a lot
more balance combined with their passing game which should allow them
to remain very competitive in this one throughout and possibly be in
line for a win at the end. Like many of the smaller conferences, home
field is not as big of a factor in the MEAC since crowd attendance is
quite low and stadiums are pretty small. Both teams are .500 overall on
the year and very evenly matched statistically and talent wise, so I see
the main difference here lying with who can find more balance on
offense and I really feel that's the Eagles. Both teams can score some,
but overall I don't see this as being a very high scoring game just like
last year's matchup between these two. BCU won by 3 last year at NCC,
so the Eagles do have a little extra motivation here seeking revenge and
I'll take NCC with the full TD at increased juice just to provide
myself some safety in case the game falls on that very common number.
Wake Forest/NC State Under 35 1H and Under 67 Game (2 bets):
While both of these teams have the ability to score, I think this total
is inflated by a good 7-10 points. If this had been a normal Saturday
afternoon game, I might feel differently and lay off of it. But the
short week for each of these teams is a huge factor to me that should
weigh heavily. Everyone knows that Wake plays very fast on offense, but
they actually run the ball out of their spread formations a lot more
than they throw it and that should lead to the clock usually running for
them on offense. Plus, they have a new QB they're breaking in so they
will probably rely on their running game even more. The great thing
about that with respect to the Under is that the NC State defense is
excellent against the run only giving up 91 ypg on average. So NCST will
be able to stack the box all night daring the Demon Deacons to try and
beat them via the air. On the other side, NCST's offense has been pretty
efficient all year but they don't really play with any pace and instead
rely on their good QB play to make the key throws when necessary. These
Thursday night games where both teams are on short weeks have the
tendency to be rather sluggish and I can see the Wolfpack doing just
enough to win but not go out of their way to run the score
up for example. I know it's always scary betting Unders
in college football, but I think there's enough padding built into both
these 1H and Full Game totals to withstand even a couple flurries of
quick scoring should that happen. NCST's defense is pretty solid and won't
have to worry as much about defending the passing game here which
should allow them to get enough stops or force WF into FG attempts.

Looks like you accidentally posted your CFB plays into your CBB thread. Ask a mod to merge that post into your CFB thread or just copy and paste it over to there.

Thanks motowner. Yeah, I was just about to add more plays for Saturday in my college football thread and was wondering where the heck my plays for Thursday went when I looked at it. I must've clicked on the wrong NCAA thread of mine initially, whoops.

Great job again today Indie! Did you post all these before the games started because it looks like some were posted after the games were over & I didn’t see your pics earlier. Just wondering when you normally post your picks ... Have a great rest of the season ??

OOps - NC Central was football, thought that line might be short vs. Clemson...hahahaha. Guess I should have read it first.
That was last night too, which didn't matter because NC Central vs. BE Cook wasn't up at my spot...I have to live closer to Vegas so I can get all of these add on games. You do awesome at them.
