Anybody got a read on Wyoming–South Dakota State? Feels like the wrong team might be favored here.

Most people on Covers are on Wyoming.  Not sure how the wrong team is favored unless you just like going the opposite for whatever reason.  How is the wrong team favored exactly?

This price is a touch rich. NET shows SDSU’s non-conference slate has been tougher (74 vs 177), so the Jacks aren’t stepping up into the unknown here — I’ll take the +4 5U

I have never been a fan of believing the odds makers will make a wrong favorite. Sometimes they could if the line is 1 or 1.5. Not a 4 point mistake. Unless they have some strange reason for making the wrong team the favorite, they are usually spot on with their line making.

I know this doesnt help you, but what i have learned to do thru the years, is just pass on any game am not really sure about. They play the National Anthem again tomorrow, so there will always be more plays. Good luck

Let me rephrase it — Wyoming is the favorite at -4. Based on what I’m seeing, I think the number’s mispriced, so I took the +4 and sprinkled a little on the moneyline. In about 30 minutes I’m going to pour myself a drink, and watch the game. 

Wrong team favored is basically a four-alarm fire around here..SD covers book it

remember when they make a line they are not saying that Wyoming will win by 4-5  all they are trying to do is put out something that they feel will bring in even action on both sides  when you see a line stay withing a point they have done a good job  if it moves a lot it does not mean they did not do  good job, but that the public thinks they were off, how many times you see lines move 2-3 points and it loses   a lot  no one knows how teams will shoot, when you get 2 smaller teams playing its even harder   look at last night  Charlotte went from + 5 to +6.5  and Charlotte was winning the whole game  I mean by like 3-5 points  until 5 mins left, then Charlotte cant score, they scored just 2 points in last 5 mins  almost unheard of  and the other team won by 7  it took a total collapse of the last 5 mins for Charleston to cover by a half pt  that is called winning from the wrong side, or losing from the right side...lol  anyway  lines are just based on getting a good betting line both ways

See when i think i see a team that is favored that shouldnt be, i always keep asking myself what am i missing that the odds makers know and i dont. Thats why i usually just pass the game

Uncessary comment but South Dakota State does suck.   They gonna lose by 20+. 

My dumb ass bought down for the even money bet and lost by the hook. Coulda had 15.5 + and paid alittle juice.      Fuuuk
