The Blues look like the team to beat right. Looks like easy money?
They won the game they had to in game 6 to force game 7 back in St.Louis. They have all the momentum. They absolutley dominated the Stars and won easily. The funny thing is, it looks like everyone and thier grandmother is betting the Blues tonight as they are a heavy favorite tonight in a pivitol game 7. Now before you run off to place your wager on the Blues based on one game, Lets reflect on how well the BLUES have played at home this year during their playoff run. They have just 2 home wins during this years playoffs, thats right they are 2-4 @ home. Most of their victories have occoured on the road were they are 5-1. Still feel confident backing the BLUES...Think again..
The STARS are a very solid 8-2 as a road underdog their last 10 games, They have been near the top of the league defensivley all season long. They have been the better offensive team in this series. Ben Bishop is likely to bounce back with a strong game despite his poor effort in game 6. Surprisingly enough, the home team wins less than 50% of the time in these spots, and with + money the STARS are the play in this spot. As a matter of fact if this game plays out like the last one in St. Louis, you have nothing to worry about backing the Stars in this spot, heck they might put one in the empty net to close this game out. Take the value here..

I agree with the value on the Stars. My reasoning is more along the lines of getting coin flip probabilities (based on how close the series has been) at +140 odds.

I do not consider -150 a heavy favorite A substantial one sure It does not matter whom or how may people are on the side of a game it has zero impact on the outcome The game is played on the ice not the betting window That being said good luck with your play Sorry I posted this just as the Blues scored

Stars have gotten a dozen quality SOG in the 1st OT and can't get sh*t past benny. Was actually contemplating taking them live, but the fact that the books have them at a juicy +120 is fishy, like they're begging for money on stars here.
Still think Blues pull it out just because they went on that hot streak this year--stuff like that doesnt happen to a 2nd round exit imho
