Probably one to stay away from, but I can't resist betting against the K-State coaching staff again- 3-0 this season, and I'm riding it with UA +1.5.
Angry homer biased opinion: Sure, KSU could win comfortably (hell, the infamous Ron Prince beat a ranked Texas team once upon a time), and I get the angle for how the season has gone so far- Dublin/Iowa St hangover for the North Dakota game, Army triple option is hard to prep for- worth considering, but I'm not buying it.
KSU is just bad in so many ways right now. The worst way- they're soft. Very soft. It's a culture issue. And this was an issue last season. This team has been pretty lifeless since KU last October, going 1-7 ATS since then (and that doesn't include the spread loss to Rutgers in the bowl game). Horrid special teams- again. The defense is bad and still doesn't have an int this season, and one of the worst in the country at defending 3rd down. Even worse at defending 4th downs. Running game? Forget it. The OL is pretty bad. Don't hang your hat on Dylan Edwards, who isn't an every down back in the first place. And his snaps will be limited even if he plays tonight. If you bet KSU, you gotta hope Avery goes nuts. Which he's capable of (but the dude just isn't tough, man. Prove me wrong, Avery. Please). What about Arizona? Well...who cares? Home game on a Friday night, short week and travel for KSU, and UA hasn't looked that bad so far.
Not sure if Klieman has lost these guys yet or not, but his team hasn't responded when they've had every reason to do so, and he has become quite the excuse machine. I suspect he's ready to get out, but he's got $6 million reasons to hang around for a while.
Whatever the case, this one isn't worth torpedoing your bank account over. P.S. I've been hot as a pistol- so I'm overdue for a Vegas beat down.
Good luck and enjoy a good Friday night game, whatever play you make. |

@LB_Dirtbags I'm with you on Iowa. Too many points.
Just my opinion- ISU picked up a couple of WR transfers that can ball. They won't lose a beat. |

@monkeybutt Good stuff, man. KSU WR transfers- they got one solid one- Tibbs. Based on film alone, it appears ISU got the better WR transfer talent. Sowell and Townsend look legit. On the other side of the ball, KSU lost two huge contributors in the secondary. Not sure they've shored that up.
Looking forward to seeing if Avery can see the field better and take off when the yards are available. Nobody can catch him.

@TRAIN69 Yahooey - here we go, bro. Way to kick it off with a another smashing thread title. I hit FSU early. 14.5? my ass.
On Sowell- both ISU incoming WR's (+ Townsend) look like ballers. Catchers and runners. Too much is being made of ISU losing two WR's that went to the league. Will be interesting to see which team landed the better WR transfers. Based on film alone, it's ISU. KSU's Jayce Brown will be the best WR on the field. I haven't bet the 3 point line. Feels like this might be a bit of a turd game. I'm on the 1st half Under small. Good luck this season my man- keep the thread titles fresh. |

@DrGame Nice write up, man.
Note on KSU OL in case you didn't know- LT transfer from Ohio St was the shoo-in starter. He's out indefinitely, which is a big hit in a huge position. The rest of the OL- they don't have a lot of starts, but they bring lots of reps from last season. Might take some time- I wouldn't call them stable.

@Rocky-Mountain Nice write up. I'm on FSU +14.5. I agree on low scoring, so two TD's + feels like the side for me. |

I'm in. Both teams have taken quite a beating, given the grind they've faced. Just a guess, but I think OSU's roster is far more capable of a stretch like this.
Throw in the advantages in talent/speed/weight...and QB. This might get ugly. |

That, and Minnesota coming off a soul-crushing defeat to Detroit make the Rams look very appealing.
Guess the venue change kinda favors Minnesota, but I can overlook that. |

Anyone have an opinion on DK changing alternate spread to half points only on all sports?
in NFL Betting I want to move on from DK and FD because of this. It's bullshit. But anywhere else I go is gonna do it, too. Just a matter of time. |

I hit it.
Anything can happen- the stakes are high. But I have a hard time seeing James Franklin and Co getting over on Freeman and his red-hot ND squad. |
