Every 3rd shot he draws a foul but he wouldn't have been half the player he is today in 90's.  Jordan when he hit his peak was better than anyone the game had ever seen.If your daughter or sons life was on the line, who would you take going into the 4th quarter between Lebron and Durant?I bet you everything you would choose Durant and that says it all. Jordan will also be number one and not even Lebron choosing his own teammates and coaches will ever change that.

There is no better argument for "who's the best" than who got double teamed more?

It's either Shaq or MJ IMO. You then have to argue who had the better team so they couldnt DT them.

Excellent discussion here:

Got me thinking though, how often are favourites pre game coming back when being down 1 run at the end of 3 innings etc? I think to be a master of live betting, you should have a prediction on paper of what could happen in the game before it starts and predict the live line if it happens.. If it doesn't work out the way you thought move on to the next game etc...  Is there anybody here smashing live betting?? I assume people are , but never want to reveal exactly what they do and why they feel the way they do at the time... I see it by far as the best way to make money in the long run if you're great at it.

In hockey(havent done it in MLB ...yet)....IF I would have hedged my bet every time my original bet was winning with a zero loss strategy....I would have been money ahead FOR SURE.

As you guessed your opening bet(on Team A) must be correct on the 1st team to score. Most of the time...I couldnt get that done.

Then you can get Team B at +200 or whatever to completely balance out a Team A loss. If team B wins you are ahead..

I kind of think their hot streak going into to the playoffs was at some time....going to reverse itself and the losses WILL COME!!

Same with Utah:

That record you quote is 129-0 for the team leading after 3 games and winning the 7 game series

If this was a horse WHO IN THE WORLD would bet on him after losing 129 STRAIGHT RACES and THEN only get +500 for winning?

Absolutely. If the refs can ditch their clear bias at halftime and try and "even things up" then Boston covers easy.

BTW: refs DO "even things up".

I've seen it hundreds of times on a bogus call on team A and not much later comes the bogus call

on team B. It happens...I've heard announcers saying the same thing..not just my opinion.

(.09%)  there were some pretty decent teams that fell into this most recently the 2017 Utah Jazz with Gordon Hayward and company.Just something to think about. Philadelphia very well might get swept

I didnt know the numbers but they kind of backed up my intuition in that Philly is down 0-3 and no team(129-0) has ever come back to win the series being down 3 games.

Philly is completely DEFEATED MENTALLY and at BEST will TRY and perhaps win one at home and might, might, might squeak one out if that.

....in the combined 15 games so far played by both teams in the playoffs...the spread has come into play only 1 game...Boston covered vs Milwaukee.   If 76ers win...they will cover...if Boston covers..they win SU...Hard to tell what kind of mindset 76ers will have.  They rely on 3 so much and Celtics play great defense.

.......or you could look at it as the spread is due to be a factor because it has not been for so long?

Ohhh.....and whatta coincidence he is being mentored by one of the greatest shot blockers in Olajawon(sp?). I saw a mini- Olajawon last night.
