Eskimos 25, Blue Bombers 7: Quarterback Mike Reilly ran for 113 yards and threw three touchdown passes to help Edmonton snap an eight-game losing streak and win its first home game.

Reilly was 16-for-25 for 196 yards, finding slotback Fred Stamps for two touchdowns, while the Eskimos (2-9) had four sacks and two interceptions as part of a stifling defensive effort. Linebacker J.C. Sherritt returned to the lineup with a brace on his broken thumb and recovered a fumble in the first quarter.

Quarterback Justin Goltz was pulled after completing 5-of-10 passes for 54 yards and two turnovers in the first half for Winnipeg (2-9), which was unable to build on a surprising victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders last week. Max Hall replaced Goltz and was 15-for-22 for 160 yards, but also threw an interception.

Reilly connected for touchdown passes with Stamps (8 yards) and slotback Adarius Bowman (16) in the first quarter. A 45-yard run by Reilly in the second preceded his second touchdown pass to Stamps - this time for 25 yards - and Edmonton led 24-3 at halftime.

Hall drove the Blue Bombers to the Eskimos 15-yard line in the third quarter, but was picked off by defensive back Chris Thompson two plays later. Winnipeg kicker Sandro DeAngelis was 2-for-3 on field goal attempts, accounting for all seven Blue Bombers points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sherritt left the game late in the fourth quarter after appearing to aggravate his thumb injury. … Bowman led all receivers with seven catches for 88 yards. … The Eskimos and Blue Bombers meet again on Friday in Winnipeg.
