I know, the 3 game meltdown last year, but doing my usual capping ahead of time. B's didn't have a whole lot of trouble with TB in the regular season going 3-1, with the only loss haveing Rask in net. And he didn't do that bad of a job.
TB seems to be hitting thier stride now and the B's lack of a PP should be of concern. Maybe that 5 on 3 PP goal at the end of the last game will kick things in. Tonight will tell. In the playoffs TB had been a PK machine, killing 94.4% of the time.
I just don't think TB can match the B's from a physical standpoint and that will wear them down. But if the B's go back in the tank scoring wise that could mean doom. But really, TB didn't get a great test from the Caps at all. They are going to meet a completely different beast here.
Waiting for Pinny to put of the east futures today and will pull the trigger.

The only thing that could hamper the B's a bit is them playing a Flyer team playing with zero effort or pushback. They seemed to have completely given up due to their goaltending joke of a situation and the ultra soft goals. But either way slow out of the gat or not your Bruins should certainly be able to handle Tampa who appear to be playing above their heads.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

Your Bruins have outplayed my Flyers, and if they should move on, and it sure looks like they will {but i can never give up on my boys till 4 games result in a loss } i feel they will out muscle the Boltz and have a great shot of drinking from the cup

respectfully disagree, tim thomas will be nowhere near as dominant as he was against philly...bolts in 6
He's only had to be dominant in one game vs Philly. He has been dominant the whole year really, why would it be any different vs Tampa who he has great numbers against?
