Tough to say but
1) Bruins lucky to have beaten Montreal
2) Played against a weakened flyers team with no goaltending to speak of
3) Tampa playing with their 7th player Moe Mententum

As long as they have Guy Boucher they have a chance.
Notice no 1-3-1 last night? Tampa was very agressive and it caused several turnovers including the third goal.
Boucher
Tampa is just a much better version of Montreal imo and they actually have 3 lines that can score and aside for Kubina are healthy.

Right on amd.
Tampa has the 3 best offensive players on their side and yet they are less talented? OK, maybe Vinny is not as great as he used to be but the best talent on Boston is Krejci and he is always looking for a pass. The gap becomes even bigger because Bergeron is gone. Tampa dominated the faceoff circle and gave them even more puck possesion. If it wasn't for Thomas miracle saves on 3 of 3 chances it could have been a rout.
Funny how everyone wants to say Tampa is lucky and take away from their 2 series wins but I barely hear anything being said about Boston.

Wiggs
There's so many other dynamics involved with this series that actually favor Tampa.....But I don't feel like debating. It's useless at this point.

game two line opened today (sunday morning) Lightning +140 @ LV Hilton and already is beat down to +130.
unless the Bruins can counter the Bugs speed and special teams, this will be a short series. I remember wiggins comparing the Bugs speed advantage to that of his Canadiens before this series started. that looks to be true plus the Bugs have better depth and toughness.
Tim Thomas will see more rubber than an asian massage parlor while "the old rolls" could have gone out for chowder and beer. box score says "33 shots against" BUT maybe a third of those were legit scoring chances.
also Bruins keep taking dumb penalties and this will be a short series.

for some reason people think just because you have more puck posession in the opponents zone you are dominating play.
tampa will give you that everytime as long as you stay to the outside. id love to see the shot chart of that game...tampa had numerous chances from close in that thomas was stellar on. i really cant remember many spectacular saves roloson had to make. the bolts did a great job of keeping boston on the perimeter.

like amd said, its all about perception. if you picked tampa to win this series, you certainly will not have a change of opinion after game 1.
if you backed boston, you feel like thomas won't give up 4 again and that the bruins will pay the price to get more chances and goals. so the +155 definitely holds value. they are a better road team as well so losing home ice, as long as they win game 2, is not such a big deal.

tampa easily
bawstin is slow
quite a few people were saying how thomas played bad . well yeah he let in a few that he would like to have back but he also stopped some that he shouldnt have .
i dont undertand why people think boston is the better team
they are not . playoffs are about matchups and boston does not play well with speedy teams like montreal and tampa . they squeaked by montreal who was half as good as they were last yrs playoffs ............and what can u say about the philly series ? it wasnt one
