So, are the books just begging for Chicago action here? This line doesn't make sense at all. The Bears are 3-0 (I know that a lot of luck was involved here, but still 3-0). They aren't getting the respect, especially with this line. I thought it would be a pk to be honest.
So, as we saw last weekend, when the books are begging you to pick the obvious, don't (games like KC/SF, GB/CHI, and STL/WAS).

3.5 now. Seems like a real stretch. ML +185 looks good to me. Not hard to imagine the Bears winning this. Rodgers did a decent job of stepping away from the rush, not sure Eli is that good at it. I can see him and Giants making mistakes under pressure from an opportunistic defense. I understand the theory on Giants here, but I think the line has more than accounted for this.

Depeche, I think the Giants are more balanced than the Packers though. The Packers have absolutely NO RUNNING GAME. I'm not saying Eli is Peyton, but if they limit their mistakes they can play with a lot of teams. They moved the ball at will vs Tennessee but made bonehead mistakes. Coughlin should have these guys ready for Sunday Night.

I know that the Bears are 3-0, but DO YOU think that they are playing like an undefeated team?
I think there is room for improvement, for sure, and they are still feeling out the right personnel. Aromashadu and Tommie Harris were benched, maybe just a message, maybe they'll be back. And then notably, Zach Bowman was benched I think late 1st half. His tackling was atrocious, and awful too. They replaced him with Tim Jennings, who looked pretty damn good and actually looked interested in tackling. I think he will probably stick there.
Are they Bears going to go undefeated? Of course not. Do they have flaws? Of course. But I said they were going to be way better than most thought, and they are. They are so much better coached this season also, and that is huge. Lovie is still Lovie, and I don't hate him or love him. But the coordinators are running the show much more and when you got 3 former HC's in Martz, Marinelli and Tice, who are all intense and know their shit, it translates. And the QB on defense is playing like he hasn't played since the SB season. The year of rest did a wonder for his legs. I don't think any team has a better trio on defense than Peppers, Urlacher and Briggs.
But the nice thing then is they are 3-0 but have plenty of room for improvement. They haven't played out of their minds IMO, at all. They need to work on goal line scoring, get that cleaned up. And the run game in general, which I think can improve, because while he doesn't have the yards, Forte's legs look better than last season IMO.
That's my thoughts. This team will continue to evolve but they are well coached and have weapons. It makes them a real threat in a conference that really doesn't have any dominant team(s). They all have flaws.

The Bears are No. 1 vs. the rush and that will translate even better this week against a Giants team that likes to run the football. Futhermore, if Tommy Harris isn't traded by week's end, I predict he'll play this game fired up and be a very disruptive force all game long.

I agree. I had GB on Monday, but love the Bears in this spot getting points. The coaches have been in this situation and I love the extra 1/2 point now.

Yeah 4 may be 4.5 soon. That's just crazy. Everybody wants the Giants based on trends, so they overadjust to where it lost all value and then some. I'll be on Bears +4.5.

The Giants D is awful right now..... The Titans cannot throw the ball like the Bears can and now Hester is got the swag back look out for great field position all day.....
I have stated this on other threads and I will again here.... I believe this line is based primarily on the fact that New York gamblers are homers and will put alot of money on the -3 opener and IMO get flattened by it.
Also, Eli is never going to escape the pass rush of the Bears like Romo and Rodgers could.... sorry but I love the money line on this...

I wouldnt make that mistake if I were you.....
Nobody wants the Giants based on trends. Its the spot. Then there is the line offered. But hardly any trends here.

I've been riding the Bears but do we consider the fact that they are coming off a short week? All the teams DAL, WSH, SF and NWO coming off Monday night have failed to cover.
Actually Bermudarun, Dal and Was played each other in a Sunday night game. Even though it's a short week for the Bears, the Giants are playing with a lack of confidence that might sabotage them in this game if they get down early. They'll need to play like a wounded animal backed against the wall or the Bears will bully and embarrass them. I think the Giants will be ready for the challenge but the Bears wll continue to ride their emotional high and pull out the victory nonetheless!

Giants are the play here gents.
Well as of now there 75% action on the spread for the Bears
One game to stay away from . Don't know which team will show up on both sides

What spot? Bears coming off a big Monday night win? What about the spot of facing a team in disarray? Everyone knows the spot and that's why the line has been bet too high. I don't have a problem with Giants being favored but -4/-200? Uh uh.
