Didn't they just win a playoff game?
So what's your point?

If all I believe is what I saw last week then I will tell you, Baltimore is not what I consider a Superbowl Championship caliber team. They are good, don't get me wrong but they are playing NE by the hair on their chinny chin chin after narrowly escaping with the win vs Houston.
BOL, it should be a good one!
Everyone quickly forgets that Balty played possibly the best deffense in the league last week. What did you think they would do, score 30 points????!!!!! Geez,,,,

The fact you are putting 90% of your BR on this one game proves you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Anyone with half a brain and understands money management and sports wagering doesn't go around betting "90% of my BR"

I almost never post, but I am on here every single day of the year, and read a lot of bullshit... Some good, and most terrible.
That being said, I thought this thread was supposed to be about 'FACTS'... well here's a few that stuck out to me:
- Of the Ravens' 48 sacks on the season, 43 (89.6%) of them were from wins, and 5 (10.4%) from their losses. Moreoever, over their last 6 games, they only have a total of 10 sacks, for a per game average of 1.66/game.
To further illustrate, here is the breakdown.
- 0 last wk, HOU, against a ROOKIE QB Yates, 3rd stringer
- 1 wk 17, CIN, against another ROOKIE QB Dalton
- 2 wk 16, CLE, since Colt McCoy had concussion issues QB S.Wallace
- 0 wk 15, SD QB Rivers (most comparable on this list to Brady)
- 4 wk 14, IND QB Orlovsky, 3rd stringer
- 3 wk 13, CLE QB McCoy
Look at the QB's listed above (except Rivers)... not very scary at all.
If the Ravens are to have a chance at covering the spread, they must get to Brady... otherwise it will get ugly.
Also, check out these FACTS:
NE has scored 45, 49, 27, 41, 34 in their last 5 (39.2 avg). While Baltimore has scored 20, 24, 20, 14, 24 in the last 5 (20.4 avg).
NE has scored 30 or more 13 times over the season, while going for 40 or more 3 out of their last 4 games (their only 40+ game of the year, which 'could' mean they're peaking).
Whereas Baltimore has scored 30 or more only 5 times (3 coming in the first 4 weeks of the season), having NEVER gone over 40.
My guess: New England 34 (or more), Baltimore 17.

Sniffing the Super Bowl, right on the doorstep,on the verg of getting to the big game? BULLSHIT!!!!!!!The Ravens have been to one AFC Championship game since they won the Super Bowl in 2000.That's right one.Nice try. You're giving the Ravens too much credit for winning a couple of lousy Wild Card games. It's a good thing to look at facts before you print bullshit like this.

Patriots Fan here. Baltimore +7.5 is the right play and the UNDER. Line is inflated due to Denver thrashing and Houston squeaky win.
Patriots game plan
No huddle offense (make Balt outscore us .... get backups on the field) -- Expect a fast first quarter
Give Brady protection - use fullback to help
Limit Ray Rice
Pressure Flacco like Houston did
Get Balt to 3rd and long
Baltimore
Wants to slow the game down
Avoid turnovers early
Get their TEs involved
Light up the Pats weak secondary
Baltimore's kicker has had a weak season
Prediction
Pats 24
Baltimore 17
Giants and Patriots in the Superbowl

That's all great and everything........................but.................what does it all mean ? Do you have any history to back-up that info as meaningful ?
Like perhaps this.....................................Since 1970 when a team has at least 5 more wins against teams that finish the season with winning records than their opponent, the team with more wins is 9-4 (69%), huge advantage Ravens.
And quess who picked-up the last 2 losses in this stat, yep those Pats..............................................
The team with more small wins by 1-8 pts over teams with losing records has won 28% of the time.
Pats 3 small wins...................Ravens 1 small win, huge advantage Ravens
The team with more large wins by 14 pts or more against teams with winning records has won 76% of the time.
Ravens 2 large wins.................Pats 0 large wins, huge advantage Ravens.
When history speaks regarding schedule it's time to listen.........................................
