Rockets @ 76ers - Rockets are 3-0 with 3 covers, while 76ers are 0-3 with no covers. Rockets have to go to Miami tomorrow night. 76ers face the Magic on Wednesday. I don't think there's any reason to go near this game tonight. Laying that many points with a team that's already covered 3 in a row with Miami on deck is not really a smart wager, and there's no way to take Philly right now against any team. Major stay away.
Thunder @ Celtics - Nets favored by 6.5 tonight. Last 5 games in this series has been covered by the road team. Thunder won as a 4.5 dog as home to the Nuggets on Saturday and go to Toronto tomorrow night. Nets home opener tonight after going to Detroit and winning as a dog on Sat. Reggie Jackson should be back for the Thunder tonight, which is a big deal because Telfair has been awful at the point. Brook Lopez should also start tonight for Brooklyn, making Brooklyn very healthy right now. I'm taking the dog tonight in this game. Jackson is a huge upgrade for a team that's covered as dogs in 2 straight games, Perry Jones has been awesome, and Ibaka will give the Nets front court fits. I'm taking 2+ possessions tonight.
Pelicans @ Grizzlies - Pelicans have covered in 5 straight games, while winning 4 of them. Grizzlies favored by 4 tonight at home. Pelicans had 10 wins less on the road than they did at home last year. They're coming off a home loss to the Mavs, when they were favored by 1. Grizzlies have started out 3-0 with 2 straight road covers. Courtney Lee went through shoot around today. The Grizzlies need him tonight. I'm going to lay off this game tonight. Don't want to take the Pelicans until they show me they can win on the road, and don't want to take the Grizzlies with Lee's status up in the air. They will need to score against the Pelicans and Lee is crucial in that spot.
Celtics @ Mavericks - Mavs favored by 9.5 tonight at home. Celtics just lost and didn't cover in Houston. They got off to a bad start and just couldn't shoot themselves back in the game. That's the problem with the Celtics this year. They don't have the shooting to shoot themselves back in games. They need to keep games close early in order to cover as dogs. I'm laying off this game. If it is close, I will take the Celtics in the 2nd half to try to cover the game. I just don't want to be chasing this game if it gets out of hand early.
Kings @ Nuggets - Nuggets favored by 6.5 tonight at home. Kings are 2-1 with a big win in LA yesterday against the Clippers after a road dog win vs Portland. This is a huge letdown spot, though. Nuggets coming off a road loss against the Thunder. They won their only home game by 10 and covering. Tonight is the first night of a home and home. I never play the first game of home and homes, so I am laying off this one tonight.
Jazz @ Clippers - Clippers favored by 9 tonight. Jazz coming off a nice home win in a good spot against Phoenix and go home for the Cavs on Wednesday. Clippers are coming off a home loss as a 9.5 point favorite yesterday. They will surely be out for blood tonight. Crawford is doubtful again for tonight's game, so it's very hard to back the Clippers without his bench production. After home losses last year, the Clippers came back the next game at home and won by an average of 19.75 points. I'm not backing the Kings because it's an obvious letdown spot and if Crawford somehow plays, I will probably be on the Clippers.

great write ups. Just make sure to re-read your work as you have many errors in there. Like the thunder are playing the nets not the celtics. Also you use backing the kings in the writeup between jazz and clippers.

Yeah, there's a few errors. Didn't reread it. YOu get the gist though...

Bit confusing, but you really just mixed up 2 teams so I figured it out. Plus who else on this forum makes write ups for every game...give the man a break.
Appreciate your opinion, the 2 games you are laying off Dallas and Denver, i am taking both DAl -9.5 and kings +7. Difference of opinion, but I still wish you the BOL with your picks.

I hopefully won't regret this, but I do love the match-ups tonight for the Kings. Hoping tonight's game plays off their momentum of yesterday's win and is not a big letdown. I don't like how the Nuggets have looked and even though this game is at home, I think the Kings will keep this close tonight.

I'd be very surprised if both those games hit. Kings are better this year but my god, I can't begin to tell you how bad they laid down last year at times. Such an emotional win to overcome for a very indisciplined squad.

I understand all the concerns, but I've been reading a lot about the Kings today and their mindset.
Kings ATS record last year playing on the road after a road win was 3-2.
These were the situations...
1. Won in Phoenix then lost by 1 as 10.5 point dog in Clippers.
2. Won in Minn then lost by 1 as a 5.5 point dog in Memphis.
3. Won in New Orleans then lost by 23 in Houston as a 9.5 point dog, but that was 6th road game in a row in 9 games.
4. Won at Bucks then lost by 12 in Toronto as 6.5 point dog.
5. Won in Philly then lost by 7 as an 8 point dog in Chicago.
Last year, they also had a similar situation as tonight's.
Kings were home and beat the Celtics by 7. The next night they went to Denver as a 5.5 point dog and won by 14. Nuggets were a bit banged up during that game, without Lawson, but Lawson is def not 100% tonight and I think Cousins and happy provide big mismatches against Denver.
