You are correct. I have been audited twice 2006 and last year. Last year they took my laptops and everything. They see amounts like that they would have a field day. Casinos do not report to the irs. They do keep paperwork on file of $10k daily amounts and bigger. But they do not report unless subpoenaed. Big gamblers in Vegas use runners or split wagers up with friends and family members to keep everything under $10k in a days time. I know you already probably know all this.
